The hotel and room were very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was very good. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful.

We had one maintenance issue and the staff addressed it promptly. I was upset that when booked I was told there would be a courtesy shuttle available to & from the AMTRAK station, but when I called I was told it had been discontinued for about a year. I was fortunate to get a ride from a kind stranger as I was told there was no taxi or ride share in town...I later found out there is one small transport option and told the hotel staff about it. Other than that the staff was very helpful and courteous.

Breakfast was mediocre normal chain hotel fair....faux scrambled eggs, preprocessed dry biscuits , etc. Shelby is not a very pretty town, and there were very few services or restaurants nearby. Is a decent motel, but is very overpriced for the region.

Large rooms very clean and beds comfortable. Hotel in excellent shape. It was hard to see the road entrance at night.
