My stay was good. The room was clean, the staff was nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again!

The lobby smelled of cigarettes and stale coffee, which should have been an indication of the cleanliness. The lobby had old furniture and stained carpet, which continued into the rooms. I cleaned the furniture and tabletops with Lysol wipes. The leather furniture looked as of it was never cleaned! The tub in the bathroom was stained and the drain didnt work. Imagine trying to get clean with water around your ankles... yuck! I will never stay here again and u wouldn't recommend this place to friends or family. They need to upgrade EVERYTHING!!

Room was comfortable and clean! Air conditioning works great. Breakfast was convenient. Quiet location.

The staff was very friendly but the hotel was being renovated with pipes exposed through the hallway. The rooms had a musty moldy smell. I had to spray air fresheners to make it bearable. The breakfast was poor quality. The waffle was the best option.

The room was clean and the hallway quiet. There were renovations underway on the hallway. The staff were friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool was clean. I would stay there again when in Shelby.

When we arrived to the hotel the hallways had plumbing showing, guessing they had a leak. When we got into our room there was BLACK MOLD everywhere. If I could put 0 stars I would. Lady at the front desk was very nice and offered another room but I’m not saying in a hotel with black mold

Other than the hallway remodel that was going on, the room was still nice. The owner needs to buy new furniture for the breakfast area. And our chairs in the room need updating also.

In the middle of construction, tried to tell me they would be making a whole bunch of noise till 9:00pm. Definitely will not be going back. The bathroom had mold in the shower, the room smelt musky once we arrived. The whole hotel was a disaster. I will not be booking this place again.
