Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles - Sherman Oaks

Was exactly what we hoped for.

Clean room, Comfortable bed. Walking distance to restaurants.

Wonderful accommodations and helpful staff

It was a good location for Universal Studios and the local mall. We didn't really have that much interaction with the staff other than checking in and out. There is a parking fee.

We stayed here for a family event nearby. It’s conveniently located right near the 405 and 101. The hotel is also located on Ventrura so, unlike most parts of LA, you can actually walk around to bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was wonderful except the checking in process was not smooth, stayed 2 days, but our room would not work after the 1st day, very inconvenient.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The property itself was beautiful, and all of the amenities exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful atmosphere. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure I had a great experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and outstanding hospitality.

If the restaurant has been open for lunch, that would’ve been fabulous. I hope you open up the restaurant for lunch during this summer.

This Courtyard hotel has more of a full service Marriott feel to it. Parking is appx $30 per day but that seems to be common in the greater LA area. We booked a double queen room that Expedia said maximum occupancy was 5 so we assumed there was a sofa bed in the room. Unfortunately none of the rooms at this hotel have more than 2 queen beds. Thankfully the hotel had an additional room available so the five of us didn’t have to scramble to find another hotel at the last minute. Housekeeping does a great job keeping the rooms cleaned and towels stocked. The staff were all very friendly and professional.

Clean, updated, everything was in excellent working order. The room rate is too high. Gym was poor, breakfast was expensive.

Breakfast was good. Dinner was good. Staff were very good. The lighting was too low. Very hard to read in bed, lights were over on side and I had to hang over side to light to read. Bathroom lights were so dim I could not see to floss my teath...Maybe today people don't read or floss teath.

Love my stays but the only thing that kept bothering me was the amount of towels I had to ask for because the water comes out the shower doors. I will go back again because I do enjoy my stay.
