Sun Plaza Motel

We didn’t stay. We took at look at property and room and said we were not staying. The pool was empty. People sitting outside room no shoes or shirts just shirts. Homeless all around. Had to body slam to look at room. Air conditioning didn’t work. Ac button taped over. Room super hot. No phone in room in case of problems or emergency. That’s a red flag. Absolutely didn’t feel safe.

DO NOT STAY HERE ! The property and room is fifty. Lights,tv,and toilet didn't work correctly. People live in some of the rooms there. I'll sum up like this we stayed for 5 minutes and left. Why this place is even listed on Hotels.com is baffling to me.

Built-in hair dryer did not work. Had to ask for it the receptionist. TV is working but again had to ask for help to start watching it because it was not tuned properly.

The only good thing i can say is there are no roaches and no bedbugs.

No breakfast offered even though it's listed. You can't get into the lobby they do everything through the night window that's just big enough to pass your hand through. The bathroom looked like it hasn't been thoroughly cleaned based off the amount of dirt in the corners and the shirt tag stuck to the wall from a previous renter. The pool was completely unusable. I know it's not spring yet but you'd think with it being right around the corner they would at least be working on it or something. Also, the playground is one like I used to play on when I was a kid in the 80's like it was built then and never updated so unless you are up to date on your tetanus shot I wouldn't go near it. Not family friendly it's used as a long term rental place with broken down beat up cars in the lot that you can tell didn't go anywhere. Only up side is it's right there walking distance to get to silver springs but it's not worth the stay. Rude staff I will definitely not return. I even made a complaint with Expedia regarding the false advertisement with this property. Most the the images you see have been documented up by Ai.

This property is terrible both outside and inside environments. My room was not clean, the sink drained slow, has not been updated since the 70s. My TV didnt work.The staff, was beyond rude. No breakfast, they wouldnt even let me into the office. The "housekeeping" in my room, was me. Worst motel i have ever been in.

Did the job. I’d stay there again.

The lobby smells strongly of mothballs and was lived in by the family running the motel. It is a single story 50th hotel that is dated but clean.

Staff was very rude. They charge for my clean pets yet the room was filthy, smelly and had a roach infestation. Luckily I did not notice the roaches until the morning because I would have not been able to sleep. But when I open the shower door they all went running. This place looks nothing like the pictures on Expedia

No pool! Didn't even check in.

My bed frame was broken, the bed did not lay flat. Killing roaches the entire. Cigarette burns and ashes all over furniture. Also the worst check in experience I’ve ever had, the dude was literally yelling at me. I thought I was being pranked. DO NOT COME HERE

No A/c working trash on grounds repairs not done I left and did not stay

I booked a room and the property manager waited until the day of the reservation and cancelled the booking and I can't get my money back so they scammed me out of my money and apparently I'm not the only one their reviews are full of scammed people! I'm contacting law enforcement and the news about this!

Do not book this hotel
