Best Western Plus Silverdale Beach Hotel

Pretty location A/c down. Back patio door kept locking us out, key wouldn’t work. Staff didn’t care. Hot tub was cold the first night. Couldn’t leave back door open to get breeze because bugs kept flying in room.

NO AIR CONDITIONING. Lobby only. Employees act like they care but not their problem. Would help if you could open the balcony door at night but they have no bug screens. Some rooms have a window only. They don’t open! Ice machine for our floor did not work. Toilet made sounds like they train was come in. Beautiful area to visit but find a different hotel. Lots of complaints from many people. Worst stay ever in many years .

We booked the hotel mainly for the convince to get on the airporter. But we also booked it for the pool. The pool was closed, and fireplace that I upgraded up to for the sweet was not working and we were told the gas was off for that. And the restaurant was closed for renovations... the 3 things we booked this hotel for. And I still had to pay full price because of it. You would think the price would be lower since all the perks for an upgraded room were not available and there would be a message before booking that nothing was working. I would of not stayed here and would of spent money somewhere else that had what we wanted available.

Unfortunately the hotel's air conditioning was out during recent hot day (Staff did provide box fans). Needed to go to 3rd floor for ice as they were waiting for a part to repair ice machine on lower floor. Staff was helpful.

Best breakfast meal offered and breakfast staff service is above what’s typical for these morning breakfasts offered with room stay.

There was no air conditioning, they provided a fan but it’s not useful and it’s sufficient for 1 bed only.

The facility is very nice. It has a great breakfast. Beds were comfortable. We were told about the issue with the air conditioning ahead of time but, I reserved a room with a balcony with the idea of being able to open a window or have a screened door to open. Our room was on the first floor with only a sliding glass door, no screen. So needless to say we did not leave it open for fresh air as we had planned being on the first floor looking out at the parking lot.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Beds are new but the renovations are still going on more than a year after our last visit to Silverdale. AC was still out during our visit but each room had a box fan which cooled the room at night. Daytime temperatures were in the upper 80’s and the room was warm when we returned around 7 PM each night.

Nice view I stayed here 5 weeks ago and when we arrived they told us that a/c is being worked on on the first floor and it was SO HOT in the room (84°). I complained along with another guest. I told them they needed to put that on their website so people know before they book the room. The gal at the front desk said they would do that. I booked this room for my Mom and daughter this time. 5 weeks later....still no a/c!!!! $198 for a room that is hot af! To top it off, the toilet had not been cleaned from the previous person. There was dried pee all over the floor. I will not stay here again and will not recommend it.

Room was very clean and front desk staff and breakfast crew were all extremely friendly and attentive.

They say they'll give you 1 box fan and cold bottled water to help. They ran out of water. The fan cooled the room to 80 degrees. EVERY person checking in each day was shocked to hear the AC was broken - nobody was informed ahead of time. By the time you get there and find out, it's likely too late to book another hotel. My 4 year old was crying at night because he was sweating, even sleeping in just underwear. The hotel tells you they'll give you a 25% discount but won't agree to refund you fully. The employee working said it's been broken all summer and they don't know when it will be fixed, THIS SHOULD BE TOLD TO ALL GUESTS AHEAD OF TRAVEL! They also recently had a gas leak, so there were big carbon monoxide signs in the room. But I guess good for them for informing us on it. Hot tub was also broken. Toilet made an awful loud noise randomly, waking us up. Construction seems to be happening around the hotel, lots of banging. Canceled last part of our stay. We couldn't handle the heat nonstop.

great breakfast great people in the dining area nice pool clean room no AC with high 70 low 80's was given a box fan but no extension cord to reach sliding glass door. Was offered a reduction in fee but then when i came back was not available for a reduction. Light in bathroom did not work light around mirror was very dim

The staff was kind, breakfast was great. I can’t believe the reviews are so high when AC rarely works. I would suggest calling ahead of your reservation time to get info about what is/is not working.

Staff, breakfast, and location were great. But the air conditioning to the rooms is out of order, and it has been for at least a couple months. Noisy box fans and leaving unscreened doors/windows open were a poor substitute.

Area was great and next to the beach. We really liked the stay.

The A/C was down but everything else was percect!
