Holiday Inn Express Simi Valley by IHG

The staff, room, and breakfast were good. However, there were some shady people loitering around the back parking area smoking weed and shouting at guests parking their cars. I don't know if they were guests themselves or just locals hanging out.

Staff was great but I was suprised by the motel setup for the price point of this property. The room was old and smelled. The property is in need of a renovation especially for the price they charge per room.

Stayed at the property over the weekend for a family event, 3 rooms. The stay was good, hotel was nice. The bed was amazing, really would like to know the brand and name of the mattress. Breakfast was nice a nice perk.

Cheap, comfy bed and room. Is ok for a night sleep.

When we subsequently requested a refund through Expedia, the hotel declined saying that we had not let them know we were leaving. Do not recommend. Initial experience was bad, and even given the opportunity make it good, they chose not to.

Great location for visiting the Reagan Library! I was a little concerned when we arrived to see it was an older property with exterior room doors. However we had a room facing the interior courtyard and pool and it was quiet, and easy to access by elevator. Once inside our room it looked like any modern Holiday Inn express property. Maria, the receptionist, was wonderful -- giving us directions and generally very helpful. The breakfast room was beautiful with items changing and refilled regularly.

Everyone was very kind! The room was actually very nice and clean . My room had a xl jetted bath tub!

Bathroom floor was sticky and dirty. Overhead sprinkler head in bathroom was leaking. Could not turn off AC. Staff was responsive however.

Very nice room, very clean. Management was EXTREMELY friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

breakfast offered daily and the spacious room had a jacuzzi which was used often, maybe some skid pads in these showers and bathtubs to ease the accident possibilities and garbage cans to rid daily waste, overall the stay was excellent and would consider staying if in the area in the future thanks great trip.

No telltale is actually pretty nice to stay at. The main thing that I liked about it was the 24-hour gym access. That was directly across from the pool which was pretty cool and different from others. The main thing about the property that I like was the breakfast Hall. It was towards the back of the hotel. It had its own Hall so you forgot that you were actually at a hotel sometimes or majority of the time it felt like you were at an actual restaurant but a buffet. Just about every table along the walls had its own individual 24-in screen TV I want to say which was actually cool to sit down and to breakfast and be able to watch the news or whatever we felt like.. it was like a breakfast lounge all in its own. It was different from the other hotels I've been to. Because they usually serve breakfast. In or next to the front and desk or up front somewhere near the office. And they also had so much to choose from.
