Simsbury 1820 House

The staff were wonderful. I stayed in room 103 in the main house; it was beautifully decorated with a large canopy bed and very spacious. The bathroom was clean and pretty. Tall ceilings. The continental breakfast was delish. Overall, a great experience and the house had such character. The outside had gorgeous ambiance, I will definitely be returning. I would recommend anybody looking for something that feels homey. I travel a few days a week for work every week and by far this was the best stay I've had.

Beautiful hotel and service was the best in a great setting!

We had a wonderful stay at the Simsbury 1820 house. The room was spacious and very clean. The front desk staff were friendly, outgoing and helpful. The location is perfect for walking around Simsbury and right across from a great coffee shop and ice cream place. Would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and classy!

Historic Inn with lots of charm. Have stayed here many times while visiting Simsbury and Farmington Valley. I have never been disappointed.

The room was very clean and spacious. Bathroom a little dated. Room was very comfortable. We stayed in the carriage house, which we like very much. The breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast. We appreciated the bottled water provided each day. Thank you for a nice stay.

We very much enjoyed our weekend at the simsbury 1820. The rooms are decorated in the manner of a luxurious early 20th century; poster bed; spacious; full bath; on site good quality restaurant; extremely helpful staff; electric charging stations for my vehicle; and access to amenities at a sister hotel, the simsbury inn, only 1 1/2 miles down the road. Everything is well maintained and clean.

I loved the staff! So friendly and helpful! The coffee was great, the location was perfect!

It was very quaint. Not enough outlets by bed for current day. Bathroom shower ceiling had black something up there.

Breakfast was disappointing at best. Unclear what the facilities fee was for??

There is a restaurant on site but it is not operated by the hotel.

Great Great endless coffee. A newspaper to read and it was quiet and very comfortable. I will come back .The restaurant looked fabulous. next time I will try dinner there.

Our second stay at Simsbury Inn; does not disappoint. We stayed in the carriage house in a beautiful King room. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.

Seen better days OK, but not worth $300 per night

The Inn is beautiful! I truly enjoyed everything about my stay. Everyone is very helpful and very friendly. I look forward to another stay in the future.

Cozy place with New England charm. A welcomed departure from the sterile chain hotel experience. Lovely historic rooms with nice bedding and details. Located in the center of Simsbury, walkable location to shops.
