Simsbury Inn

Our stay at the Simsbury Inn was delightful. We visited our daughter and her family and went to an outdoor concert. My husband was not feeling well so we spent more time than we expected in the room. It was nice and quiet away from wedding festivities.The breakfast was excellent. We usually stay here when visiting our daughter. Would like it a little less expensive.

I hate to say it but the sister property in Avon can’t even compare to this location. I was so disappointed with the Avon location that I amazed to find out that this was a sister property. The instant I walked in the door, Matt was amazing, the rooms are quaint and clean, and the restaurant along with the staff like Kelly, put an exclamation point on the property. The restaurant is the gem of the entire hotel. When locals fill the restaurant on a Tuesday night it speaks volumes. I will be back in a couple months!

Great little historical hotel with nice amenities, such as sports courts and a breakfast buffet. The room was large and comfortable!

The rooms were clean but the staff was unfriendly.

The area is beautiful, and the parking was extremely convenient. I also felt very safe staying there with my two small children. Definitely going back again!

Very nice hotel have used many times. Easy parking, lovely grounds, and welcoming hotel.

But overall property needs a good cleaning and freshening up - vents cleaned, aged mirrors replaced or add new trim, paint Minimal staff interactions but the one we had were pleasant.

I don’t love the new gray corporate hotel decor that has taken over every hotel in recent years, so I was delighted to arrive at the Simsbury Inn with beautiful classically decorated rooms that make you feel at home. Fluffy duvets and comfortable beds. And a wonderful breakfast. I also enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese in the late afternoon and a swim in the heated pool. All around a lovely stay.

We stay here a lot and love the cozy vibe and lobby area. My only one suggestion is to vacuum the lobby after breakfast hours.
