Historic Skagway Inn

It was difficult to find in a fairly small town. Poor signage. Locals didn’t know where to look for it as it is that forgettable. Rooms were clean but paper thin walls. We could hear conversations in the next room very clear. Beds were squeaky and saggy.

historic so the external bathroom was an understandable feature. Shutting everything at 4pm was not what I expected however! A hotel that charges a high price to stay (at least in my books) but provides no restaurant or bar in the evening when the rooms are all full is not trying hard enough. No explaination from the owner other than it is what it is! Luckily his attitude was more than compensated by the other staff, particularly those at breakfast who helped you start the day with a smile. Worth a visit certainly but dont expect too many frills!!!

We stayed there and the room was cute and felt like a period piece. The breakfast was excellent! Breakfast burrito, hashbrowns and strawberries. Great stay and lots of charm.

Also no A/C anywhere and so hot inside the room which we can not able to sleep at night. Also breakfast is so little, small quantity and fixed served, no buffet We would not recommend looking to the high price.

We were so impressed by how kind and helpful the staff was. The hotel has a cute and cozy boutique vibe and embraces the exotic history of the building.

Staff helpful, shuttle to & from ferry, the history, the garden & restaurant, good wi-fi Bathroom/shower down the hall worked OK, but could have been issue if they were full

The location and breakfast were very good. Our room did not even have space to normally walk around the bed. There were one and a half drawers to store clothes. The room was very stuffy and tough to cool down. There was a gentleman who worked the desk who double booked the shuttle and who was downright rude on more than one occasion.

Great staff. Clean and comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast.

Lovely room with all the amenities. Host was very nice. Restaurant had great food. Would definitely stay there again. Well, not really anything. Maybe that there was no on-site parking, but there was plenty on the street.

Not cool enough in room

The decorations were charming.

Ian was great checking us in , our room was unfortunately hot , the walls are paper thin and the beds are sloped from people sitting on the sides of them . Once people stopped walking around in there rooms (yes you can hear them walking in the rooms next door so if their talking u can hear every detail ) . Breakfast was very nice and included . We would not stay there again due to the heat and the noise and uncomfortable beds .

Staff is super friendly and rooms are clean. Included Breakfast was superb - wish I could have stayed longer.
