Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago-North Shore/Skokie

My card was charged multiple times for this stay. I will not recommend nor will use expedia or the hotel again

Room wasn't really big, but it was clean and the beds/pillows really, really comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. Really hot coffee (a rarity in our parts), fresh fruit and seemingly real eggs. Finally, the pool was 10 year old approved and its long hours meant I didn't have to worry if it would be open when we got back to our hotel

Was in town for a baseball game, stayed 2nights no complain. It was great.

Unlike many Hampton Inn locations this was a high rise and more like a traditional Hilton hotel. Room was solid, but not a suite style room with kitchenette and seating area. I could hear highway noise from my room, other side of the hall might have been quieter. Breakfast was good, coffee was better than usual. Gym was large but they need more than one bench for people who are using free weights. AC didn't seem to work well - the room was often 2-3 degrees warmer than the thermostat setting and the gym was the same; the AC seemed to kick in periodically versus being able to maintain the temperature at an even level.

room service - i didn’t knew we had to request for room to be serviced for two days stay so room was not straighten not good for there standard. Next Location itself felt way north to downtown. traveling distance was 20- 30 miles and traffic was impressive, 5 miles took 32mins lol

Staff are proffesional and friendly. Room, bathroom , hallways and kitchen are clean. Good breakfast. Very quiet for sleep and relaxation. Soap, shower gel and shampoo with conditioner good quality. Thank you to all staff!

Highly recommend this hotel. The room was excellent, as we had 4 people we had the suite that had a separate bedroom with two queens, a living room with a pull out sofa and a kitchen & small dining space. Breakfast included many options, and the selection changed daily. Staff was very friendly and hotel was very clean.
