I love this historic hotel. Great location to have dinner in the square. If you need an elevator don’t book a room here. I liked the stairs but if you have mobility issues will be an issue. Rooms are small but nicely appointed. I’m taking away one star as the bed was pretty soft and should be replaced. Free coffee in the lobby was perfect for the morning.

Lack of convenient hot water. Morning shower took a full 10 minutes for luke warm water. Called the owner and he acknowledged it would take "a while" for hot water to reach that end of the hotel. Also the hotel was not staffed for my Sunday and Monday nights stay. I was given a front door key to let myself in and out when going about town trusting that other guests would be responsible enough to see that they ensured the building was secure as they came and went. My room and building key was to be slid through the front door mail slot onto the foyer floor upon leaving. No check out procedure. A bit shaky on security. Hit or miss street parking only.

Great experience

Housekeeping services are not available; therefore, we had to request clean towels on a daily basis. Otherwise, the beds were very comfortable.

room was clean, quiet at night, staff friendly

Our two rooms were well appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The location right on the town square was very convenient.

location no breakfast, or coffee in room

Quaint property. Great location right on “The Square.” Comfy beds. We lucked out with finding nearby parking, but could foresee there could be issues with that.

Amazing

Staff is very friendly. Hotel is maybe a bit over priced for what you get. It is very quaint/charming, bed is cozy, location is great. TV was non existent as the cable wasn't working at all and it was a very small/computer size screen. Took a long time to get hot enough water to shower. Would have felt crowded if I was sharing the room with anyone else but myself.

It was very cute, unique old historical building. Near the plaza do everything we did was walking distance. No elevator can make it challenging. We didn’t have an issue.

The room was spotless and the staff were great.

Great hotel with lots of character and charm. Lovley big rooms with a comfortable bed and clean linen. The attached restaurant "The Girl and the Fig" had an excellent menu, catering for all dietary requirements. There is no lift on the property, so suitcases have to be carried up a flight of stairs. No on-site parking, but plenty in the streets surrounding the hotel.
