El Dorado Hotel

Great location, amazing staff and nice place.

Great location surrounded by shops, restaurants and a nice park for an evening stroll. The room was very clean and cozy. Parking was easily accessible.

We didn't try the food in the lobby, or the pool, so we can't comment on that, though both looked very nice. Parking is limited, but we found it easy to get a spot in front of the hotel before space opened up within the hotel parking area. The location is perfect. Opposite the park plaza and an easy stroll to the best shops and tasting rooms - you won't need your car unless driving to Napa or surrounding areas, but even then you can get a tour to take you to the vineyards and to Napa. We did miss a hotel gym, but the park opposite had exercise equipment for the hard core fitness addict. Would definitely stay again.

Our room was lovely, with elegant, modern décor, and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable—we slept so well. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The restaurant was another highlight of our stay. We had an amazing brunch one morning, and on another day we stopped by for appetizers, oysters, and drinks before dinner. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend El Dorado to anyone visiting Sonoma. It’s absolutely worth it, and we can’t wait to come back!

Great location, in the heart of downtown Sonoma. Lots of tasting rooms within walking distance, close to a walking trail, across the street from the Tuesday night farmers' market with live music, food trucks, and beverages, a couple of blocks from the Friday morning farmers' market, and so much more. The perfect location!

I Wanted to give a special shout to Eileen at the front desk for being so warm and personable from the moment I stepped foot on the property to the moment I left it was warm and welcoming and very beautiful uncomfortable. And unfortunately, we did encounter a cold and rude male bartender on Saturday night. Outside of this experience everything was great and I’d 100 percent return again.

Hotel was excellent. Employees are very motivated and on the ball, great restaurant and well maintained rooms and common areas. Exceeded expectations.

Beautiful historic Inn right on the Sonoma Plaza, delicious restaurant, and helpful staff.

From the initial glass of wine at check-in, we were wowed by your hotel. Very elegant, clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for access to the square. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We'll Be back.

The rooms are lovely and the bed is extremely comfortable. The onsite restaurant is delicious and staff are so helpful. Enjoyed the pool and would definitely come back and stay here again.

Quaint, modern, unique and very clean with fun amenities like the pool and bicycles. Location is great for good food, the Sonoma Overlook Trail, and the paved bike trail through town.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly. We had an amazing stay where everything was easy! I highly recommend this hotel!

This is a cute and friendly place to stay that kinda makes you feel like a local. And a bit like going back in time, beautiful small town charms.

Clean room. Needed more counter space in the bathroom. Staff was friendly, a gentleman carried my bag upstairs when I checked in but after calling the front desk no one ever came. I would stay again
