Ocean Gate Inn

We had a really unique experience in that we booked a room that apparently was sold out. The room we booked was an ocean view with 2 queens and updated amentities. We were placed in a room with 2 double-beds that had challenges with the electricity, the room smelled moldy, the bathroom floor was cracked and the shades didn't work. We were told because we didn't inform them that we were in the correct room on day 1 there was nothing that could be done, which while we do understand that sometimes using a third party booking site such as expedia can lead to these challenges, it shouldn't warrant the way we were treated. It was as if we somehow were trying to get one over on the property. The location is great, the amentities were loved by my children.

We enjoyed our room very much. The landscaping was beautiful. Nice breakfast. We just had people over us who came in late and woke us up.

This was a beautiful property, well located to get to other areas and enjoy the beauty of this region. The views from our balcony were amazing, the staff was very helpful. The place was very clean, our room was recently renovated and was very nice. Good size! We had breakfast one of the days we stayed and it was very good!

Beautiful gem of a property. Lived there fire pits. The rooms are freshly renovated with beautiful views. Great kayaks and SUP! Great coffee at registration. Really lovely experience for a quiet get away.

The variety of activities to do. The toiletry supplies were difficult to use (containers located in bath/shower were hard to push to get shampoo/bath gel/conditioner out.

Breakfast was very good. Beautiful location. Very friendly, helpful staff. The little things I noticed were taken care of by staff as soon as I brought them to their attention. It would be nice if meals were offered on the premises!

The parking to your room. Could be better. Not enough spots to accommodate how many rooms there are. Took forever to figure out how to use the TV. The roads could use work. Huge pothole once you turn out onto the road. Hard to avoid.

Location was perfect for the breakfast. It was just luke warm & had to be reheated in the microwave but the choices were plentyful. good job

The room was supposed to be ready at 2pm, but wasn't ready until 4, and was overpriced; the quality did not meet expectations regarding the amount charged per night. The room was dark - better lighting needed - but the view from the balcony was nice. The breakfast food was not good.

Everything was fantastic!

When we pulled up to the Osprey Cottage - it looked like a small cottage - when we went inside we were both surprised at how large it was, Very tastefully decorated., Wished we had brought our families they would have loved it. Everything was just perfect. One thing that stood out was the flowers everywhere.- absolutely beautiful.. The only thing would be that there were no restaurants or stores within walking distance.

This is a great place to stay for all ages.

Arrived after hours. No a/c on, hit as can be. No stock, ie: tp, coffee pods, soap. Tub dirty, bathroom floor dirty, second floor, stairs, staff was great. Complained and no one came so purchased items at dollar store and cleaned. 100 off bill? Won’t return,
