Comfort Inn & Suites Springfield I-55

The room smelled musty and neither of the phones worked, so when I needed to speak to the front desk, I had to call on my cell phone.

Great staff! Great property. I will definitely stay there again.

It was a perfect state. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were great. The staff worked with me to make changes in my itinerary. I would definitely stay here again. Comfort inns Rock! Generally :-)

The room smelled terrible. Could feel all the coils in the bed. Just overall rundown.

The breakfast needs variety, the lobby and dining area were bright and nice; however my room was dark, outdated, and furniture needs updating. When you can feel the springs and there is no cushion on the sofa that's bad. It wasn't a comfortable stay.

Over all it was a great stay. Polite Staff and very helpful. **** Well stocked room, Breakfast was nice to have each morning, Very quiet on the 3rd floor, Property seemed safe and no one lingering around outside ever. *** The pull-out couch bed is very thin and was said “he slept on springs.” Poor kid. (We took all the extra pillows, both couch cushions put them on the mattress with the fitted sheet over it. Seemed to help a lot. *** The air unit filters need cleaned more often if at all in the rooms (318)

Clean room, nice staff, breakfast as expected like most, hot tub out of service.

Bad smell in the room, like old smoke and dirty animal, mold in the shower. Very uncomfortable sofa bed, covered in stains.

Comfort inns really need to upgrade the rooms. Curtain dangling, one lamp didn't work. Arm chair old and stains not impressed for the price

We were disappointed in the breakfast in particular, after reading many great reviews on here. It was open from 6 to 9 AM and we went down about 8 AM and there was no one clearing tables or tidying up or refilling anything the choices were just about all gone. The only cereal left was a little bit of raisin bran, and it just looked very unkept with food and everything on the countertops where the food was being served so we just left. I know it is a minor issue but inside the shower there is no place to put your own toiletries that you might have brought such as your own shampoo and conditioner. The rug in the elevator was stained and torn and nasty. The elevator sounded as if it might not make it up or down, we would not choose to stay there again.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable

Good breakfast but rooms and hallways are not inviting because of the dim lighting. Easy fix! Bedding was very comfortable. Yellow shades and weird bulbs just don’t work.
