Days Inn by Wyndham Springfield

Our stay was ok. It was an older property. The pool is small but was ok. The only hot item for breakfast was waffles. It is nice there is a Cracker Barrel and McDonald's across the street.

back door lock broke. guys out back drinking and loud music. Carpets were smelly and ripped in places. Trash in hall there when we came and still there at check out. staff very kind and check in smooth. could not get room cool.

Continental breakfast was brutal. It felt like they were/are financially struggling, as they were out of almost everything, and didn’t refill items after being asked. The room was affordable, I guess we got what we paid for.

It was exceptionally comfortable.. I definitely liked the bed! The shampoo in the bathroom needed an upgrade..

Location was good for being by Lake Springfield. The hotel and room smelled like carpets that were wet and didn’t dry. Rooms need some TLC. But I did not see any bugs.

Location and value Updates are needed. Bedding and bathrooms.

Decent room, doors to the back were unlocked the entire stay so had a safety concern. Other than that room was clean and stay was good.

The room and the entire hotel needs a deep clean. Property needs better maintenance.

Large, really clean room, quiet location, a couple were trying to check in with a dog when I was coming in. Location was close to gas, food, a "Dollar Store" and 1 exit away from my next day event.

Minimal breakfast options. Cloudy pool water.

The room was old and smelled off. The pull-out couch was broken and no sheets or blankets were provided. There was a tv remote, but no back to the remote, leaving you to hold the batteries to change the tv. The fridge did not cool. out of the 3 light bulbs, only 2 worked, sometimes. The best part....the 2 am smoke alarm in our room going off for assuming, low battery and we listened to that for the rest of the early morning until I had to get up at 6 am for a game. I got maybe 2hours of "rest" but not sleep. There are people that live in the hotel, dogs that were not picked up after. The best part of the hotel was the Circle K next door because breakfast was a joke. - dry old pastries, a personal crock pot of assuming was gravy to go on a stale cold biscuit. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, ever.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Building, carpet old. Moldy smelling.
