Great staff, room was amazing, and the atmosphere was fantastic

Nice room- suite overlooking the pool and vineyards in back of property. Room was cleaned beautifully each day. Breakfast was good every day. Mattress on our bed was relatively hard and uncomfortable. Bath products were funky scent- so did not use them during our stay bought our own soap and shampoo. TV remote did not work worth a damn. I thought the property was showing many signs of deferred maintenance. For $1,500 a night, we’ll stay somewhere else next time. This was our second stay at the property. Not sure we’ll be back…

Great views

The amenities are poor. No hot tub and the pool is barely heated. There is no breakfast included which I should have realized when I booked but after other wonderful stays at Alila properties, I just assumed it would be included. The spa was beautiful but once again, lacking amenities. It just has a steam room with no modern spa staples like cold plunge, sauna, hot tub, etc. The housekeeping was also disappointing. We didn’t get turn down the first night even tho I called to ask for it. When the house keeping did come, it was well executed but not high touch. The toiletries in the bathroom were also disappointing. We stayed at the Estate Yountville before and they had the most wonderful selection of amenities, from bath bombs to sewing kits to intimacy kits. There wasn’t even a razor in our room and with my track record with calling guest services, I wasn’t inclined to call and ask. Long story short, stay somewhere else unless you want to pay luxury prices for a budget hotel.

Beautiful property but poorly run. We were told we had to stand outside for check in on a rainy, cold day as someone else was being checked in inside. They cheerfully offered us a cold welcome cold drink though - and as they kept us waiting we had to ask if they could turn on the heat lamps after we asked if we could not wait inside and were told no. The rooms/view beautiful, but we could hear the guest above us the entire time -and toilet kept self-cleaning throughout the night. Breakfast was good, but service was slow - took almost 30mins for our food after we ordered. And to top it off when we came home there was another $500 for resort fees and parking of which was never communicated with our booking or at time of check in/out + another $1,100 in pending charges for cc hold they did not clear until I called. Horrible experience for what should have be a luxury stay!

Incredible! awesome! From the moment we arrived they treated us like we were the only people staying.Every staff member was beyond any expectation I could imagine. The room and the view was breathtaking. The car service to and from wineries and restaurants was incredible. We will definitely be back. This is how all hotels should be.

Great place
-
Great Vineyard view and staff was very accommodating!

We had dinner at their restaurant, *Violet*, choosing the seven-course option with wine pairing. It wasn’t very good—even the ravioli felt undercooked. We felt this hotel wasn’t worth the price. Next time, we’ll definitely look for another option.

Upon checking the house, we had to request housekeeping to clean our bathroom as stuff was left in the trash cans. Overall, our stay was okay
-
The bottom room was beautiful with the views of the vineyard. Spa was fantastic and massage 10 stars. We will for sure be going back.
