This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Has a lot of history. Mary, the owner, is beyond accommodating, and so wonderful to work with. We enjoyed our stay here, and when we go back to Napa, will certainly stay here again.

This is such a cute hotel right on Main Street. Mary is AMAZING. Anything you need (including recommendations), have questions about, etc. she will help. Cannot wait to come back.

The staff was friendly. The street noise, part of the ceiling fell full of water during the rain in the upstairs living room area, right next to us. We called the staff and let them know, but there was no immediate reaction. Small twin size beds. Dated bathrooms.

Great location and cute boutique old-timey hotel. We were in a room that faced Main St and the noise level was off the charts. The single paned windows did nothing to block out of the constant whoosh of traffic all night and while the karaoke bar stopped at 1am, we were ready to be asleep way earlier than that.

The historical decor. Mary is a sweetheart. The hotel is within steps of many shops and eateries. I will absolutely go back.

Location is the excellent and you can walk to nearby restaurants and bars.

There is no coffee/tea in the room, but the hostess provides delicious coffee in the lobby. You can have a cappuccino or a latte or a fresh brewed regular coffee. The location is Ideal. Its sets on the Main Street of downtown Saint Helena amongst all the beautiful galleries and shops. The small café next-door serves a delicious breakfast. They were also in the middle of setting up a wine tasting room as well.

It is an old property that needs further refurbishment. We waited five minutes at check in and finally called for service. Office was closed at 8:45am when when departed. We had to leave the key in our room. One bottle of water in the room otherwise no amenities, coffee or tea, refrigerator, bottle opener. I'd expect more for the rate. They did have two wine glasses. Our garden view looked at roofs. If you leaned over you could see umbrellas below. Second floor walk up. The rooms were just old and very small and not consistent with the more historic and lavish downstairs. Felt like we were in a more threadbare former servants hall. No control of airflow in the room. Outlets were hard to use as the plate stuck out preventing secure seating of the plug in the receptacle. Super noisy bathroom fan which was the only functional light in the bathroom. Insufficient for the standards of the community and the rate.

Very small rooms, dirty sheets that did not fit or stay on the bed, everything was outdated. No where near the 3 star rating it boasted. Way too expensive for what it was!

Leaving after one night. If I could have found another hotel that late, we would have left. I liked the big No refundsÃÂ sign over the front desk! Ridiculous that you have this rated at 4 stars. It's the worst hotel I've ever been in. The hotel was filthy. Our rooms were so dirty my sister left immediately. I had allergic reaction to all the mold. There was no closet or even a bar to hang any clothes. The communal bathroom was disgusting. No one ever cleaned it while we were there. The

this is first time, I have stayed at the location where there is no attached bathroom

Staff was capable and welcoming. The hotel was charming. The room was inadequate. The custom curtains were adorable but didn't close completely so it was like being in a lighted (hall lights on all night) fishbowl! Also, there was no usable mirror or closet.

Atmosphere is very good. Good location. No bathroom in the room. I did not think it is such a difficult thing.

The hotel is centrally located in St Helena. It is right downtown so you can easily walk to shopping and dining. Our room was in the front of the hotel right on main street. The traffic noise was extremely loud and kept us up all night. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the WIFI did not work in our room at night.
-
The staff was very friendly. The room was very small.

You can't beat the location. Its right in the middle of town There isn't any A/C so I had to leave my window open. Just outside my window, there was a telephone pole with a very loud transformer. I had to leave the TV on all night to drown out the noise. There was also an extension cord stretched on the floor

The hotel was charming, a boutique style hotel with antiques, sitting rooms, wine bar, garden with tables. The best part was the charming ladies at the front desk who were cheerful and full of great advice for restaurants etc. No
