Quality Inn St. Paul-Minneapolis-Midway

The property was nothing like the ad on the internet. The daily breakfast was only Friday, Saturday & Sunday. The Bar & Grill didn't open until 5 PM and the only food item was frozen pizza. You had to request room service or they didn't even bring clean towels. I would not recommend this Motel to a dog much less a person. Also there was a strong marijauna smell outside the doors. Hallways smelled like stale smoke. Only stayed 3 nights so stuck it out instead of moving to a better place. Pictures are very deceiving!!!!

Also, my iphone died when I was there so I figured I could use the room phone for local calls, but there was no phone in the room.

Do not go to that place is stinky really bad and it shows pictures that are fake because the place is dirty and it smells bad and there’s no breakfast. It’s a wrong quality to go to. I went to Doubletree Hilton. That was the best. And the worst thing is that I let Piti know how the room was the same night I was only there for 15 minutes and they didn’t wanna reimburse me the money. They want to charge me for the whole night actually they already did charge and fighting for that.

3rd time staying here in a little over a month!! The staff here is amazing! Very well maintained for an older hotel! The bar is a very friendly and fun atmosphere!

The biggest problem I had was that they couldn’t check me in because of a problem with Expedia’s payment to the hotel itself and they made me call to resolve the issue instead of calling themselves- it wasn’t a problem with my payment, but a problem between Expedia and the hotel and I felt like the customer service could have been better since I didn’t cause the problem. Other than that it was fine for what I needed it for, but wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re a hotel snob.

Pool was good, room was good. bathroom was okay. They did not offer a free continental breakfast as they advertised. They did offer a low cost alternative, but we ate at a local restaurant. The location was not very good.

Nothing Old bedding with mildew and holes. Shower with mold. Room door looked like it had been kicked in. Window was broken and would not completely close. Toilet had feces on it. The curtains had holes. The air was humid and smelled of old cigarettes. Not clean. The rooms look nothing like the photos.

The bathroom was not clean. The lobby was not clean. The restaurant had fruit flys everywhere.

Unfortunately I didn't like anything about the property. The photos and descriptions were not the same. There was a bar attached to the building that the cigarette smell came right into the room. It's a bar with locals not a restaurant.. the shuttle they offered was an employees personal vehicle. Also the parking bucks. The room we booked was a king bed room looks nothing like the photos on the website. The pool was closed although it looked fine. The 1st room i was given smelled like something had died in it they changed me to another room that was slightly better. But the cigarette burns in the linens were classy. We had to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs through a creepy door to the 2nd floor rooms. Then the screaming of guests in the middle of the night was a whole different thing. I had to buy an extension cord because the plugs are nonexistent in the room and my husband had to pull the bed away from the wall to plug it in. Then the TV worked when it wanted too. Thus was not a pleasant time at the property. I have stayed at Quality Inn's before but this one needs some serious work.
