Room was a little warm when we got there and there wasn’t any way to turn the fan on but the windows opened and there were fans in the rooms. Once we got the temperature set it was fine. The rooms were great and it was a great place to stay. Not too close to the lake but the rooms were much cheaper than the others.

Nice place to stay but a bit outdated. Needs a good remodel. Room could have been cleaner.

We will definitely book a stay here again.

Great place to stay

My wife and I began coming to this property in 2011 prior to Holiday Inn taking over. The last time was in 2017. The first 3 times were in the Cascade lodge. We loved that place. This time we stayed in the Terrace. Overall the place was clean. However, the tiles in the elevators were worn due to ski boots and equipment. The fan in the main room only worked one way. The chains to turn the light on and off and change fan speed were stuck. When the fan was turned on the light stayed on and it was stuck at its slowest speed. Fan direction couldn’t be changed between winter and summer. The programmable portion it the coffee pot didn’t work. We asked for another and it was the same. In the kitchen they had all the essentials, plates, silverware, pots and pans etc, there were no measuring cup/cups or spoons. The staff is very helpful. They responded quickly when we called regarding an issue we were having. In all they were the best part of our experience. This will probably be our last time coming to this resort. It needs a major refresher to be in line for the prices charged.

Our bed was comfortable but my families bed was uncomfortable and had to wake in the evening and take a warm bath to elevate pain. The staff was kind but not very informative. The last day we came back to the property and was informed that a parking garage was not available. We could have been informed by text and not have to fly by the seat of our pants because the information was posted on the elevator and we hadn't gotten back for the day.

We absolutely loved our stay and had a wonderful experience overall. The hotel is beautiful, and everything was excellent. The only thing we would have appreciated was a better view from our room. Since we paid for a room with a view, we were expecting a more beautiful and panoramic view of Lake Tahoe. Unfortunately, the trees in front of the room blocked most of the lake view. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we truly enjoyed our stay. It is an excellent place, and we would be happy to come back.

The room was excellent with an amazing view and I had access to a hot tub and a vending machine and a lot of other stuff to wash your clothes was free this was an amazing stay I would highly recommend

Everything was wonderful. Good location.

No air conditioning. Room never below 80 degrees. Roads extremely steep.

It was clean, but no A/C and it was uncomfortably hot

The Villa Suite I booked for Labor Day weekend was amazing. It had a king size bedroom with its own flat screen tv, the living room area had a comfortable L-Shape sofa with a flat screen tv along with an electric chimney, it also included a 6-person dining table that worked perfect for my family of 5. The kitchen was well set with all the amenities included from the smallest thing like a spoon, can-opener, cutting board, to the biggest thing like a toaster, blender, dishwasher, and of course a coffee maker. I rate it 8 of 10 only because we didn't really like the bathroom it was a bit smaller than expected along with bad lighting. The second bad thing was that we experienced a loud noise coming from a possible "pipeline" that didn't let us sleep the first night. Lastly, breakfast buffet its scheduled from 10am-12pm but they charge $30 per adult and $15 per child, I was a little surprised by that, so we skipped it.

Property is good and rooms are clean but the location is pretty dull. Nothing around the hotel.

Tower building okay, a bit dated. Bath/shower is dangerous. I almost got seriously hurt. Tub is very, very deep and needs a tub mat to avoid slipping and getting injured.

We were here, Labor Day weekend. Properties located up the hill 15 minutes from the main areas. Our heater wasn’t working in our room also no hot water. They were having maintenance issues at the moment.
