NO AC!!!
-
So let me start out by saying the hotel was nice and clean etc. the only issue we have is no ac in the room. I know you think it’s Lake Tahoe you don’t need ac in the rooms. Well Tahoe gets to 90’ in the summer sometimes. No problem, we live in the central valley of California no strangers to the heat! Figured we would open a nice big window or balcony door in the evening and we will be good! Wrong! The only window that opens up is a 12” wide by 24”tall. Not nearly big enough to cool down the room with a ceiling fan and we were on the bottom floor. There was some type of swamp cooler we found in the closet but that didn’t help a lot until we put on top of a chair to it would blow some what cool air on us. So to be honest I’d rather drop down to a cheaper place to make sure we have ac in the summer. But I figured I’d pay a little extra for a nicer place but not a great decision on a hot weekend in Tahoe.

NO AC, you aren’t told until you check in! Coolers in the room need water to run, only one setting works, windows only have a 1x1’ section that open, not enough for cross breeze. Bistro Lounge is a joke, one person working. Always has an attitude and took 1.5hours to have a burger. Coffee machine is a 12 cup, they give you enough coffee for 1 cup. Room was spacious and lovely, would have enjoyed more with ac

We stayed in the Terrace and appreciated having free mini golf, a hot tub (with a TV!), and a sauna right in the building. There were also many other amenities we didn’t have a chance to use but definitely would have taken advantage of if we had stayed longer. The pools were clean and refreshing, and the whole property somehow felt more like being in your own home than staying at a resort - in the best possible way. The star gazing was also excellent here! Our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. We also had dinner at the Bistro, and ALL of our food was excellent, as was our waiter. It was a real highlight after a busy day. Overall, we really appreciated the combination of beautiful surroundings, outdoor activities, cleanliness, comfort, and laid-back atmosphere. We would happily stay here again.

There is no AC and many hidden fees

Finally I needed up not driving to the property because of if I reach late and if I could not find anyone then I will be stranded on the road with family in the middle of the night. I had to drive back 2 hours to home due to this inconvenience. Sad part is the management thinks I stayed there they don’t even have basic checklist to verify what happened with the user did he use it or not. And you are sending me the feedback form. It’s shameful

Family-friendly, very nice staff, and also room was clean as well

Amenities in our room were broken, the resort does NOT have AC but that is not explained when you book via hotels.com, so if you're booking in the heat keep that in mind! The ceiling fan did not work and my husband had to troubleshoot for two hours while we waited for engineering, the TV remote worked extremely intermittently, the toilet paper roll fell off the wall when i used it, there were absolutely zero utensils in the kitchenette and the microwave platter did not spin which meant we really couldn't even eat hot food, and two outlets in the room did not work. Staff texting line is responsive, but unfortunately they can not make maintenance come to your room any faster. The resort is massive and I never saw a single staff member after leaving the front desk so I knew we were going to be in for a wait. We were only there for one night and the pile-up of small issues ruined the evening, unfortunately. IF you stay here check your rooms before you settle in.

It’s a new hotel but needs to work out some kinks. Love the shuttle that took us to Harrahs for drop off and pickups. Driver was very friendly, We were thankful to find a place that was available last minute during a busy festival weekend in Tahoe. The hotel was 5 miles past incline village , other side of state line, in the mountains. Our room was on the cliff side of Gardnerville. Room is smaller than photos. Bathtub was hard to climb in and out of due to thickness of insert. NO A/C. The room on the 8th floor, needed ventilation and one small square of an open window. Adjacent room, had kids and not sound proof, Room was on the cliff side, so it made sense why the window was only 12x12 with a screen. Upon arrive to our room from the garage, the keypad was not working properly. Had to notify staff immediately upon arrival. Staff was available in a texting. Amenities in the room were not ready for two hotel guests. I’d, towels, coffee/water cups , we wont be staying here again, due to no A/C for ventilation, room was stuffy. Needs to have more staff. All in all, it was ok. We were thankful we had a place on short notice.

The location..

First, be aware that none of the buildings have air conditioning. The hotel provides a “welcome” letter and even has a sticker on the window stating the windows open, but they only opened about four inches. Not only did that provide almost no ventilation, but it also allowed bugs to get into the room. Our room was unbearably hot. We called the front desk twice to request a portable A/C unit, but were told they were limited and that other emergencies took priority. We never received one. We spent our first night sweating and unable to sleep comfortably. To make matters worse, there were bugs in the room and spiders on both the walls inside our room and throughout the hallways. The elevator also broke on our first night and was still out of service when we checked out, forcing us to carry our luggage up and down the stairs. The pool was dirty, with leaves and debris floating in it, so we didn’t even want to use it. We intentionally stayed away from the hotel as much as possible because being in the room was so uncomfortable. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel stays we’ve had. If you’re visiting during warm weather or expect basic comfort and maintenance, I would not recommend staying here.

I liked that there was lots to do: pools, pickle ball, arcade, pool tables, tennis courts, and more. There is a shuttle from Stateline to Tahoe town, so that was pretty convenient. The rooms, however, are hot. No AC and windows cannot open sufficiently for cross breeze. There were portable swamp coolers and fans in each unit, which helped somewhat.

We loved our stay but being there on a hot week without air conditioning made it unbearable at times.
-
The room was great. We were told it was a room with a balcony. There was, but in the bedroom, not off the living room, which we had expected. It was a little disappointing but still a great room.
-
The shower very uncomfortable the tub is almost impossible to claim in very dangerous for a senior.
-
The rooms are not equipped with Air conditioning. Quite uncomfortable during warm days. Apart from that everything else was great.

Our stay was very nice

Check-in was incredibly smooth, thanks to the wonderful front desk staff who gave us a great overview of the property and daily activities. At 7,000 feet elevation, the surrounding nature and views are stunning. We were placed in the Terrace building. Our room was huge and matched the website description perfectly. Having a full kitchen with a fridge and all the right utensils made it feel like a home away from home. I loved the layout of the bathroom; it has dual entry from both the master bedroom and the main living space. If you have guests or kids sleeping on the living room sofa, you can use the bathroom without walking past them and disturbing them. The resort is also super close to local amenities, including restaurants, shopping, casinos, and rental shops for e-bikes or paddleboards. We even saw a brown bear during our stay, which the whole family loved! On-site, there are indoor and outdoor pools, a gym, a game room, and a nice bar area. The lobby immediately gives off a great forest vibe. This was a summer trip, but we're already planning a winter return because the kids are so excited to come back.
