Clean room

Check in/out was quick and easy, the rooms were clean and the staff were polite.

Many trucks were parked when we arrived. Many were running, increasing the extraordinary heat. The location is scenic. Walking on the property in the evening was nice.

The pool was closed every day until 3 o’clock . They said this is their policy at the end of every month that they put chemicals in the pool every morning. I was never told this when I called to book my stay . And I picked this hotel specifically for the outside pool, which I never got to use . Also, the bathroom tub leaked multiple times into the walkway area while showering .

Room was not ready early when we first got there. No problem, went for ice cream nearby. Still not ready at 3:30 when we got back, but they then upgraded us to a golf course view. Nice room!! Location is remote, but appears to have a restaurant inside the hotel.

A group of us went to a convention and stayed at the hotel. The staff was great. The lounge and bar was a great hang out spot for after hours. It was a secure location where we weren't worried about parking our vehicles. The rooms were very nice. My only complaint was that when I got in my room, I could faintly smell a wet dog odor. It wasn't too bad at first, but by the second night it was pretty strong. It was pretty obvious that a previous guest had locked a dog in the bathroom recently with some of the scratch damage I noticed. They had done something to cover it up the smell before I arrived, but it didn't last. Since we all hung out in each others rooms, I noticed that none of the other rooms had that issue. I guess I got the dud this time. Everything else was great.

The 4th floor has a smell of vomit when you step off the elevator. The room themself were good, we stayed at a Holiday in Express in WV the room was very good.

Nice staff, good breakfast, nice pool, rooms are a little less than average. Though the room was generally clean, the bathroom tub had some pink mold, the shower curtain smelled, and the doors and sinks were worn out. The front door seemed to have forced entry damage.
