Best Western Plus Heritage Inn

Room was very clean. The buildings are older, but overall seem to be well maintained. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

The bathroom towel needs to be washed with baking soda & bleach because they looked dirty. The carpet smells, maybe they should spray vinegar to get rid of Oder or get rid of the carpet. Staff, parking was good. The breakfast was ok.

It’s not convenient

Not what I wanted. Bedding was staying and not comfortable. The bed was very hard. The place was old. It was clean but old. I don’t think it was right for the price..

Property is shared with a Food for less store. People living in their cars in the parking lot. We had 20 plus flies in the room, cockroaches and the floors made the bottoms of our feet extremely dirty. Oh plus I killed 2 spiders. Lots of people living at the location and we couldn’t walk to our car without going through someone’s cigarette smoke. We would have left however we arrived late and drove all day and prepaid online. I only chose this place because of the reviews and stars. This was not correct. We are completely disappointed and wanted to speak to a manager and one was not available. No security at the location.

Not using the pool but can’t seat there to be on my phone is crazy , not available to bring my breakfast

From check in to check out the staff was helpful and nice. The Breakfast was great had a little of everything . The room was spacious and clean.

Our first room was in unacceptable condition. It was extremely dirty, with dust throughout the room, a leaking toilet, and a non-functional intercom/phone. When we contacted the front desk, they moved us to another room, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. While the second room was cleaner, we were woken up in the middle of the night by a strong smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke coming into the room. The C Building, in particular, had a dirty lobby and smelled heavily of marijuana throughout our stay, making it feel poorly maintained and uncomfortable for families. Overall, the property appeared poorly managed, and the lack of attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience was very disappointing. We chose this hotel expecting the quality typically associated with the Best Western Plus brand, but this property fell far short of those expectations. I would not recommend this hotel to families. In my opinion, the management of this property is negatively impacting the reputation of the Best Western brand. I hope ownership takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements.

This hotel provides a decent value in that the rate is lower it is centrally located, breakfast is included, and the room is reasonably clean. However, there are some drawbacks as well. Front desk staff basically ignored me when I arrived; there were two women working but felt it more necessary to focus on their screens rather than assist my check in. I waited about 2 minutes to gain their attention. The front door has a warning (one on each door) that bathrooms are for guests only. The parking lot was very dirty and ill-maintained, with garbage flying everywhere and broken curbs. A few people were loitering in the parking lot every time I went outside, either wandering around or sitting in their cars. The door to the building where my room has a key card entry, but had to be pulled shut in order to latch. Each time I used it, the door was ajar and open to the parking lot, even moments after I had used it. The inside hallways reeked of a mixture of marijuana and perfume. The door to my room also needed to be pulled shut to latch, and the door frame flexed heavily as if it had been broken into in the past. Breakfast was OK, with the ambiance augmented by the security guard taking breakfast vouchers. I will not be back.

Also the ice machine on the first floor didn’t work and there was no signage on it. The second floor one didn’t work either until we went to the 3rd floor to get the ice.

We stay here almost once a week for business trip. This was the second time I was told by the front desk that the credit card auth was all good, submitted, not pending. When my employee arrives, they tell him the credit card declined. He arrived 1.5 days after making the reservation. They should have told me the card declined (if at all) way before my employee arrived. I do NOT appreciate this at all!

Everything was spectacular. We were happy with the room, the food and everything too

Great staff. Clean property

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel often and on over the last 20 years whenever we have visited Stockton this time we had a terrible stay. The hotel is under the new management. They rented rooms right next to ours to people who gave parties all night long we did not sleep all night long. There was music blasting that was profanity being screamed and yelled in the hallway right outside of our room. This went on all Friday night. We complained and called to the front desk several times. Nothing changed The next day was Saturday night and it was the same thing. People partying music, the blasting so loud the room vibrated all night long. We were not compensated for what we had experience the lack of sleep for two nights in a row. Nothing was done. The hotel manager offered us a $22 discount. Unacceptable and unbelievable also for those of you who picked this hotel because of their breakfast, they now have a new rule you cannot take breakfast to your room. You have to stay and eat it in the dining room those of us that are on vacation and want to sleep in. Do not want to have to get up at six or 7 o’clock in the morning like we’re going to Work to be able to have breakfast you could always bring your breakfast to your room. My husband would always go down and bring it up now you’re not allowed to take it out of the dining area This is not a great place that you want to stay if you want a peaceful, pleasant vacation. Definitely not where you want to stay with handicap peo

Friendly staff, clean rooms, parking lot needed some cleaning but otherwise everything was clean

Wonderful stay! Secure property- gated and supervised. Beautiful grounds, clean comfortable rooms, and lovely breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again!
