Quality Inn - Storm Lake

Dahlia checked us in and she was just great. Really really nice! I felt like the room could’ve been cleaner. There was hair on the ceiling of the bathroom when we first got in. Sheets were kind of dirty. I didn’t have any issues last time I came here, which is kind of disappointing. Other than that, I had a good stay.

Just stayed for one night for a concert. Hotel was nice, front desk was very friendly and helpful. Had a pool but we did not use but it looked nice and had other patrons in there. There was no elevator so keep in mind when hauling luggage up stairs.

First time I was asked if I had insurance for in case something broke in the room, sounded discriminatory.

It appears they are going thru a renovation of the hotel. Only the first floor was completed. we were put on the second floor which has not elevator to get to. Not fun when you have few pieces of luggage. The first room we were in had a very dirty shower. Staff was very helpful with getting us a new room.

Clean, updated, convenient Apparently they don’t service rooms daily, which is fine but we weren’t informed. Mostly needed fresh towels more often.

The sheets don’t stay on the bed.

Bathroom toilet was backed up with feces in the toilet. Checked out a day early and was told that I would be refunded for that day but have not seen that.

People is always so friendly. I’m definitely booking again next year!

We checked in and the room smelled liked it was an old smokers house. We asked for an extra blanket which they said they didn’t have extras? Weird! Then they brought us a sheet with blood all over it. We went down for breakfast at 6 am since we had an early morning and it didn’t come out till 6:20am. We ended up in another room upstairs which smelled like smoke even more. Sounders in the room and bathroom and bugs crawling around. Beds felt like from the 90s. The only good thing was the pool that was nice and cold but closed at 10. We will never be back again. Only reason why we chose it was because we heard it was updated. Far from it!

It was just a very sub-par experience. And I went in not expecting much.

I reserved a King room and when I arrived at 7pm (4 hours after check in time) I was told they didn't have any King rooms available and that the housekeeping hadn't cleaned those yet. Very disappointed.

We booked 2 rooms and received an amazing free upgrade to the presidential suite which is a lovely large suite. The double room was nice too, clean and seems recently redone w new floors. Very reasonable rates and lovely staff at checkin and checkout
