Super 8 by Wyndham Storm Lake

The carpet was soggy wet, the TV did not work and the sink drain was very slow.

GET A POOL HAHAHA

Check is easy and parking is super close. The rooms are clean and staff are helpful. No elevators so if that's necessary ask for 1st floor. Breakfast is great. No complaints, will be back again.

I tried to communicate with the property via Booking.com and never received a reply. If you accept a customer and will charge a customer through a tool like Booking.com, then be prepared to communicate with them.

SMELLY!! Room smelled soo musty we could hardly stand it. Room was located under the stairway. Bad design.. foot steps from people going to second floor is very load.

The room was all old fixtures showing lots of wear and tear and the carpet was very stained, but it was clean and everything worked. The mattress was relatively new and we slept ok on it. No evidence of bed bugs. The room we were in had a slight lake water/wet dog smell, but if you kept the AC running and left the exhaust fan running it was much better. It does offer breakfast, not a big selection or top quality, but it does have a waffle maker, and a McDonalds close by was our choice for the second morning. Overall you get what you pay for, and I think it is what you would expect to get for the price. We never stay at Super 8 or hotels of it's caliber, but it was the only thing available in a small town near a holiday on short notice and we needed a room for 2 nights to take care of business. It was fine, but reminded me why we are not Super 8 people.

The room was very clean.

Great staff! Only complaint is that there was a funny smell in the hallway. Luckily the room smelled fine.

Great stay

At 3:30 am, was awoken by a guest screaming at another to get out. Not real sure what happened but from what I could make out, someone touched someone inappropriately and she wasn't having it. Also, the last 3 times I've stayed there, there has been a problem with the television. Twice I've had to go to the front desk and have them come to the room to fix the problem.

We had trouble with the TV (it was fixed) & room keys (fixed as well)

Heating/cooling unit did not work! We were given a box fan. Not a good sleeping situation.

Close to my destinatation The room looked clean on the surface, but there was debris behind the curtains, and when I lifted the seat cushion on the chair it was filthy under the cushion, The key cards worked the night we checked in but failed the next morning and the staff could n ot resolve the issue. Also, We asked for a no-smoking room; however, in the morning our room and the entire floor reaked of cigarette smoke. I told the only person in site when we checked out, the brerakfast staff person, about the smoke and she said "oh yes we have smoking rooms on that floor". The breakfast was terrible, we wished we had gone out to eat. This was very disappointing, we have stayed at this motel in the past and it was much better. Not something we would wish to repeat.

Only 2 towels in the room

Older hotel that should be updated but due to location only place to stay in county. The toilet and sink seems to be very low, almost like it was not built to spec. heights
