I encountered one issue concerning breakfast as I was erroneously charged for an “included” breakfast. Thankfully Expedia is reimbursing me for those charges. At check in I was told I did not have the included breakfast with my room package. The next morning I was told by a different front desk person there would NOT be any charge, so we ate breakfast and checked out. A couple days later card hit for the breakfast charge.

It was really clean, and everything was great!!

The room was clean, comfortable, and inviting, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept great! After a busy and exciting day on campus, it was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Banner Elk. Thank you, Sam, for your outstanding hospitality!

Wonderful clean and well situated hotel. Close to everything we needed. Staff were so helpful. The outdoor patio was a wonderful treat to sit out in the evening.

I’m pretty sure this is the newest building in Banner Elk. Very clean and the staff were all wonderful.

We travel to this area a lot and it will be perfect for upcoming trips - especially in the winter time as they’re super close to the mountains, have ski lockers, an indoor pool, and great restaurant on site!!

The girl at front desk must have been new and having some difficulty getting us checked in. There should be extra people there to help in cases like this. People were lined up and waited quite a long amount of time. She was extrememly friendly and apologetic, but could have used some help I think.

Excellent, friendly staff and very clean facilities with great amenities. The indoor pool was a huge hit with the kids, making it perfect for families. Plus, having a Lowe’s supermarket right next door is incredibly convenient!

Stayed four nights and did not get one good nights sleep. They control (override) the room temperature at night and would wake up hot at 1-2 every morning. I’m sure they save energy but it is not good for getting me to be a repeat customer.

Brand new facility that is well laid out and beautifully designed

However these large corporate hotel chain's have gotten super cheap. There's no complementary coffee in the lobby and no coffee machine in the rooms only a little Starbucks bistro that charges $8 for an espresso drink. Pretty ridiculous.
