The Grand Hotel

Free parking on site. Free breakfast (good and varied options) Water and coffee available all day (expect super early in the morning) The size of the room was amazing and the windows can be opened for fresh air. The rooms are a bit smelly, the carpet and basic cleaning don’t help. My room was not made one day because when the cleaning staff came I asked for 5 minutes before we left and she never came back, I had to ask for deep cleaning due to ants in the room (a few in the bed), they never replaced used glasses for clean ones. Elevator doors and room doors all super dirty. Elevator has to be reset if door is left open for too long (it won’t work) so if you’re in a rush, this is a problem. The hotel in general needs renovation.

The bathroom ventilation made a buzzing sound all night that kept us from sleeping.

I like to have a oatmeal Nobody bring my suitcase. I need a help.

Hopefully the place will be less chaotic the next time we stay there! The location is very central and there is a new ice cream store called Dumont Creamery up El Camino that was outstanding, especially the strawberry cream flavor!

We had a great time at the hotel, the pool was great, the rooms were huge and had a huge and amazing bathtub and separate shower. We were two adults and two children. Lots of dining and delivery options nearby. The adults really appreciated the two drink happy hour and the kids loved the options at the continental breakfast. There was plenty of parking and the area seemed very safe. We would definitely stay again!

The new building was really nice. Just it didn't like the fact that you had to walk outside to get to the main building.

Great place to stay with right on the main road.

First, the hotel offers "two complimentary drinks", but when we went to the bar, virtually every liquor bottle was literally EMPTY. No joke—empty bottles were sitting at the bar. What is the point of offering free drinks if there is nothing available? At breakfast, around 9:20 a.m., the employee in charge literally told us, “10:20, you better eat quick. 10:20,” with an irritated expression, making us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We placed the sign on our door requesting housekeeping. When we returned around 2:00 p.m., our room had been completely skipped. We politely asked if it could be cleaned, and again received attitude. The housekeeper eventually cleaned it, but gave us dirty looks throughout, as though we had ruined her day. When we complained to the front desk, we received more attitude and an extremely dismissive, “I don't care about the guests” type of response. Very unprofessional and disappointing. The one exception was Victoria, the afternoon innkeeper. She was absolutely fantastic—professional, kind, attentive, and genuinely concerned. She even apologized for the behavior of the other staff. Victoria understands what hospitality should be and deserves recognition. Unfortunately, one great employee cannot make up for the repeated poor service we experienced. Horrible hotel.

The Jacuzzi was out with caution tape, no little mini store to buy water, snacks etc. The main reason I booked was for the Jacuzzi and when I arrived it was blocked with tape.

The woman working the front office was very nice and helpful. Overall, room was a bit dirty and dated, but amenities were nice. Parking was plentiful.

Good location Our room was hot, the vents were filthy the counter dispenser was dripping and got all over my clothes. Breakfast was horrible. And the water pressure was low and not very hot

Exceptional

I absolutely loved the big deep soaking tub! The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, with a beautiful view of the sunset. Staff was very helpful, they have free parking, and an outdoor heated pool!

A little bit of noise from ceiling. Probably families were having a party from foreign country, other than that, there’s no complaint.

More improve the breakfast food quality.
