Red Roof Inn & Suites Swansea

We paid for 2 nights and left after the first night..would not recommend. Cars pulling up and sitting in front of the first floor rooms, no area for dogs to go potty, stairwells smell awful and dirty. The AC wasn’t on when we arrived and it was a 100° day, room fridge was off and smelled like death. Every piece of linen had stains on them. Felt unsafe with our child and dogs.

TV cable went out after 20 minutes of viewing. No extra blankets Lumpy pillows Shower has lack of control just drizzle No cups , no coffee or tea, creamers etc. No phone to call front desk for any issues. Over charged for piss poor hospitality!!! Website said 2 dogs was ok but the guy at the front desk said 1. Also said check in was at 3pm but then I showed him the email that said 2pm.

We stayed here due to close proximity to Bristol 4th of July events 2026. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and cool. When we arrived the outside temp was 93*. Comfortable beds. We would stay here again.

I just ate the cost the second night and switched hotel

Arriving at the property we were dismayed at the look but checkin was pleasant and the room was clean and newly renovated. There are no bells and whistles but we got a good night’s sleep and a hot shower. The price was high but lower than almost anything else nearby.

Our stay was short, meet our needs and off we went to another stop.

This is the second time I stayed here and will again. Staff is excellent. Loved my room. In good area. Lots of restaurants and stores to shop.

Very clean great location and the staff is very friendly!

The room was filthy and dirty. They were stains on the AC unit and the tub and a loose tile in the bathroom. I will not be coming back in the future.

Nothing Leaky shower with very little hot water, no coffeemaker like we were promised in room. Mini fridge would not stay shut. Very few towels. Very restrictive pet policy

Location was convenient Deposit that still has not been returned. No amount coffee. Steps on the end of the building, doors are very sticky hard to open for the stairs

Good budget hotel. Clean, with some issues with no hot water, noisy pipes, and holes in the blankets.

Front desk gentleman was amazing and offered assistance with something related to my booking I had not realized . Great service! The best Red Roof I ever stayed.

Location was fine for the lower rate compared to other locations. There was a lack of hot water in our bathroom.

Hot water was cold also felt uncomfortable

I took pictures and walked the manager through it all. I was told the linens are taken to laundromat, the cleaning lady only works10-2, and everything is "being replaced." He did give me a different room which appeared better but....the outside of fridge had a collection of dust, the switches needed wiping, the bed coverlet still had stains (I did not sleep under the covers because I was still grossed out), the bolts on the toilet were not trimmed, and there was never any hot water no matter the time of day. I told the manager about the hot water and was given the standard "Well we're full. Noone has complained. Everyone is using it at the same time." Hmm. Really? All day? Then I was told the hot water tank is hot so there has to be a leak somewhere so he wanted to put a blue toilet tab in the toilet so he can find the leak. Uhm...that's not how that works! It was interesting how he said they were full on the weekend when I only had neighbors in the "gross room." The door leading from upstairs to the bottom outside door needs a "Watch Your Step" sign.

Room was semi clean but bathroom was gross. Bathroom sink water was yellowish brown- chose not to shower because of this. Room was next to a stairwell that reeked of weed. People sitting in the parking lot in their cars smoking and drinking

Not sure where to begin on this one. I get it’s a budget motel but, damn, this one is bad. First off, the unit went through a hastily lipstick remodel in all the wrong areas. Tub faucet would not stop running, lamps still had flammable cellophane packaging on them, and the tiles in the bathroom floor are loose. The tub only offered cold water and you can inspect orange water to spew out of its faucet for the first few minutes. Next is the noise, there was an rv that was parked at the dead end drive outside the hotel that would run their generator constantly throughout the night. Based on the amount of plastic furniture and grill, they live here. Next was the fact that the walls are paper thin and the ceiling (first floor unit) was suspended and I assume no insulation. We were kept up all night by someone who paced back and forth apparently with their shoes on. When they stopped, the caged dogs in the room next to us would take their place by barking. The dogs would finally stop when their owners came late night early morning which was identified by the slamming of the door repeatedly. The icing on the cake, when we would try to report any of this, we would get hung up on by the front desk.
