Red Roof Inn & Suites Swansea

Check in was a little hard through the glass, but ok. Was not expecting an additional security deposit for a one night stay - but was refunded fairly quickly after check out. Room was clean, fairly recently updated - craftmanship wasn't the best but still neat and clean. Air conditioning worked great and staff was very polite. No breakfast, but we knew that coming - there is a soda vending machine on premise. Served it's purpose well for a quick one night stay.

Reasonably priced motel with all that entails. Front desk folks were very nice.

Cigarette holes in sheets and comforter. Dark brown walls and dark brown sheets and dark brown comforter not appealing.

The property doesn't look like much from the outside but the room was sufficiently clean. Several stores and restaurants are within a short driving distance. A satisfactory stopover.

Stairs to the second floor needed vacuuming. Lots of parking spaces. Checking in was easy and staff was polite. Give it a 3 star.

Amazing

It was small and dark and there was no elevator to bring up my bags so I had to take them up by the stairs which smelled like mildew and wet dog.

A place to sleep.

Somewhere between poor and okay. The room was clean, but very sparse. The bed was comfortable. There was no coffee in the room and the room was not serviced during a two night stay. The refrigerator did not keep things cold. The staff were pleasant. There was no shampoo in the dispenser even after I mentioned it. The stairway to the second floor where our room was located smelled terrible and the doors would stick. For years I have relied on Red Roof for a predictable clean and comfortable budget accommodation. This has not been the case recently and I will no longer use them as my go to budget hotel.

Parking was right outside the room. A/C worked fine and the room was clean. It did not, however, look like the image shown when booking; it was a very sparsely appointed room. The bed looked like the image and was very comfy; all seemed fairly new. If the painting on the walls had been done with more care (spashes a few places on the floor and peeling in the bathroom), it would have been very nice. The staff was very professional - kudos. It was nice for a one-night stay.

Clean room and good air conditioning.

We checked in very late but, Staff was pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning worked very well. Had to have a smoking room. Wasn't thrilled but, room was cleaned well and smell was minimal.

We paid for 2 nights and left after the first night..would not recommend. Cars pulling up and sitting in front of the first floor rooms, no area for dogs to go potty, stairwells smell awful and dirty. The AC wasn’t on when we arrived and it was a 100° day, room fridge was off and smelled like death. Every piece of linen had stains on them. Felt unsafe with our child and dogs.

TV cable went out after 20 minutes of viewing. No extra blankets Lumpy pillows Shower has lack of control just drizzle No cups , no coffee or tea, creamers etc. No phone to call front desk for any issues. Over charged for piss poor hospitality!!! Website said 2 dogs was ok but the guy at the front desk said 1. Also said check in was at 3pm but then I showed him the email that said 2pm.

We stayed here due to close proximity to Bristol 4th of July events 2026. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and cool. When we arrived the outside temp was 93*. Comfortable beds. We would stay here again.

I just ate the cost the second night and switched hotel

Arriving at the property we were dismayed at the look but checkin was pleasant and the room was clean and newly renovated. There are no bells and whistles but we got a good night’s sleep and a hot shower. The price was high but lower than almost anything else nearby.

Our stay was short, meet our needs and off we went to another stop.

This is the second time I stayed here and will again. Staff is excellent. Loved my room. In good area. Lots of restaurants and stores to shop.
