Very clean

Breakfast was fine - very friendly attendant. The coffee was unusually good - we've come to expect not much in hotel lobbies. We really enjoyed our overnight and wish we could have stayed longer. There was nowhere to take a walk safely in the immediate area, too many trucks and fast traffic in and out of the hotel grounds. A sidewalk leading to a neighborhood would help.

Possibly the most comfortable queen size bed I have ever experienced.

Room dated, semi clean, had multiple mosquitos in our room, not sure if it was because we were on ground level. Michael was very friendly and helpful at check in!

Great place to stay love it

The toilet seat was very loose and one could easily slip off. I found the screws under the latches on the top side and tightened them. The tv was not connecting to any of the stations. Upon closer inspection of the backside connections, the coax cable became disconnected from the metal screw in part. Once it was reinserted to the connector already in the tv, it worked. Regular cable tv would have been nice as the most watched stations were not available. There was a flossing pic left next to the bed from the previous occupant and we left it there. Breakfasts were great and the service in the breakfast room was outstanding. Since there were so many attendees to the Bluegrass Festival, it would have been nice to offer a room discount like some of the other local hotels do. It's a big part of the Labor Day weekend's customers. Otherwise, all good. Glad I was able to take care of the repairs myself without having to deal with maintenance department.

The room was clean, but the bathroom could use some real freshening. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was mediocre.

This Hampden Inn was very good - Curlissa at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful - her restaurant recommendation was “spot-on”. The facility was beginning to show its age - cracked shower stall, worn paint in areas. Cigarette butts around the front door and some trash around the parking lot. Breakfast was ordinary but the kitchen staff was very nice. Needed more fresh fruit and a variety of yogurt. I enjoyed the “On-the-go”bag. I would definitely stay here again.

Room smelled like mildew

We checked in at 10pm and it was quick and easy. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast options were plentiful. Kids enjoyed the stay.

Friendly and efficient staff, clean facility and rooms. Overall, a great bang for my buck!

Everything was excellent. There was nothing to complain about. I enjoy the stay at the hotel and would tell anybody to go there. A great place for a vacation.

Room was clean but had a musty smell. Air-conditioned was running and the floor in front of it was wet. So either it was leaking or major condensation. Pool wasn't clean.

Shower was dirty

The breakfast far surpassed our usual experience in budget hotels. The staff is so incredibly pleasant and helpful.

Room had a weird mildew smell and bathroom was in disrepair with the bar from the shower only attached on one side, staining in the tub, a shelf that was coming apart and discoloration on the walls. The staff was super friendly and common areas were well maintained.
