Comfort Inn Syosset - Long Island

Breakfast selection not like it used to be. Not many choices. Hardly any fruit.

The day before we were scheduled to check in, we were switched to the Best Western Premier Hotel in Plainview. Therefore, we cannot rate the Comfort Inn.

About all I can say for this place is that it does hotel basics: bed, shower. But within a few minutes of arriving at our room I noticed that there were ants all over the nightstand. I killed about a dozen before I called to the front desk. As soon I picked up I was told they had a maintenance request in for my room already because of the ants. Little unsettling they gave the room out anyway, but ok. When I asked if someone could come and look the front desk person tried to brush it off but I insisted someone needed to come. Luckily maintenance did show up pretty promptly and sprayed something around the nightstand. Maintenance guy was great and said they'd return in the morning to clean and spray again. I kind of wish I'd pushed for a new room but again, I just needed a bed and a pet friendly place to spend the night. And this place delivered on that, at least. Just wish there were fewer ants. I did also wake up in the middle of the night because of a strong smell of someone smoking weed but I wasn't confident in the hotel dealing with it, despite it being a smoke free hotel, so I didn't bother calling the front desk again.

The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. The breakfast was very limited and mediocre.

The breakfast is fantastic, full breakfast items served hot and delicious. The location is ideal for anyone. everything is close or 15 minutes away. The facility is clean and smells clean. Very friendly staff. At check in I informed reservationist that I would travel with my small Emotional Support dog, I was questioned at time of check in. No charge was applied but it kinda took me by surprise.

Luke warm water at best. Low water pressure so toilets don’t flush properly very limited parking and overall not very clean

The room and bathroom were nice and clean. The free breakfast was awful. Eggs tasteless and coffee weak and barely warm. Cereal would not dispense from dispenser. Needed a later checkout and was charged an extra 40.00 which I thought was a lot. Room very small and not very soundproof as I could hear the tv (which I don’t think was excessively loud) from the next room. Bath towels were thin and like sandpaper. Not worth the price especially with the extra 40 added. Other hotels nearby charge a bit more but are much nicer.

The room was quiet and comfortable. There were no USB chargers in the room so I had to purchase a plug in.

The room was very clean. However, quite small. Breakfast was adequate.

they provided free early check in Room smelled of smoke/cannabis and there appeared to be homeless people placed in may of the rooms.

The room was the size of a sIze 6 shoe box, the closet was a short little stand alone thing in the corner of the room; the bathroom smelled; the water did not go down in the sink; the bed was a BIG lumpy thing; the pillows were hard as rocks....need I say more? The reception person/area was accommodating to us

Clean and comfortable

Property seemed dated and a little dirty. Room was a little depressing and although it was clean it did not feel clean to me. I am a little torn because i was not expecting the accommodations to be great to begin with.

Stayed here multiple times and it’s a fine hotel. For this stay, the third floor was being renovated. Would’ve preferred to be on the first or second floor. As usual, comfortable room,great breakfast and many good TV choices.

We have been here several times and we like the clean rooms and the breakfast.

loud, door would not lock when leaving and was told they couldn’t help me for 3 hours. shower head fell off and soaked the bathroom
