Candlewood Suites - Syracuse Airport by IHG

The parking lot was totally full. I had to park a ways up the street, no where close to the hotel because no available parking. The ice maker did not work. There was no ice machines. There was a kitchenette but not one single pot, pan, plate, spoon nothing. You cannot utilize the kitchenette without kitchen tools. ?????? I would not return to that locale.

Sheets smelled, also very loud on first floor.

Kitchen was not equipped at all. It had a toaster and exactly one plate and nothing else. Not one glass. Very disappointing

Decent room, staff. Problem is parking... there's alot of cars there compared to rooms, leaving no parking spaces.

It’s great the only thing I didn’t like it’s the keypad, I have to get a new key every day but other than that it’s a great place to stay

Property is going through rushed remodel and somethings were dusty and the shower rail looked like it was coming disconnected from the wall. towards the end of the stay the lobby was coming together.

I like location of the place. The kitchenette. On site laundry. Close to gas, food, post office and central to my clients. To many cars in the parking lot. Many park there and fly out and I know many are not stay there.

in the foyer there were scattered about working materials which were unsightly.

Blood stain on sheet. The shower door would not stay closed, and the track was not leveled. Dog walk area not maintained. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night with no explanation ofther than a guy standing in the middle of the hallway saying "all good now, all good now"?? Television didn't work (was replaced the 2nd day of stay

Room was great, but the kitchen part had no pans, dishes, cups or silverware. Also they charge for laundry here which is a first ive seen a candewood do.

Clean and quiet space, but there was literally one bowl in the kitchennette, no silverware or glasses. Also I called 24hrs in advance to reserve shuttle space and they told me to do it when I checked in. Didn’t say anything about how limited the space would be (space for one family.) When I asked upon check in, the only shuttle that would get me to the airport early enough for a 4:10am bag drop off was full. After first insisting that the staff member I spoke to couldn’t have made a mistake and I must be hard of hearing, they recanted and offered to get me at 3:50am which was SO kind, and I said as much. But then when the driver picked me up - on time - he saw me with four suitcases and a toddler, on my own, and the only thing he could say was “hurry up.”

Room was not ready , waited over 2 hours a to check in when I was there on time , they tried to give me a room that was their personal storage room it was a complete disaster!

Nice staff. Great location next to SYR.
