Holiday Inn Express Syracuse Airport by IHG

Clean room, shuttle was fast and picked us up past midnight, delivered a list backpack directly to our room. Free breakfast had my favorite meal of oatmeal, milk, nuts, and plum.

The rooms need to be cleaned better, so does the bathroom. Hair was everywhere!!! Even in the ice bucket! To me, that is just gross, we found skittles under/side of the bed. The carpet looks dirty.

This hotel is very well run at its price point. The hotel and room were clean, the staff friendly and helpful, the pool well maintained, the breakfast good and the coffee better than at most hotels.

When we initially checked in they gave us a dirty room . Went back they only had double beds . But staff were helpful and property was clean.

Clean room and helpful staff

Staff was friendly, rooms were big, clean and a few miles from the airport.

The room hadn't been fully cleaned when we arrived, evident by the bathroom trash not being taken out from the previous guests. Everything else appeared clean, though including the common areas. The staff were friendly, helpful and quick. Very convenient and close to restaurants and the airport. Breakfast being included and free coffee available 24/7 is a big help when traveling with your family as well.

The signage for the property was very difficult to locate. The sign measuures approximately 18 inches tall by 24 inches wide and was not lite for the midnight arrival. It is located behind a warehouse building and another hotel so the Ctual building was also very hard to locate

Great place to stay

All the staff were kind, knowledgeable and very helpful. The drivers of the shuttle bus to and from airport were excellent.

The staff person we got was not chatty at all. Seemed borderline rude. We reserved two rooms but she only have us one. We caught it right away and she added the 2nd room back. The 2nd room was horrible, it smelled like a chain-smoker lived there for 5 years. So we requested a different room and ahe was able to switch us over so that we are next to each other. Still not single smile or acknowledgement. I think that was the weirdest part of our stay. The pool was nice but small and super hot. Must have been set to 90 degrees. You didn't feel any change in temperature when you went in. The kids only stayed for a bit because they got hot and wanted out. Breakfast was ok. No meat selection just bread, cereal, eggs, omelets. Overall good place just needs some TLC and some friendlier staff.
