Clean, quiet, and excellent breakfast

I reported the issue discreetly to the front desk because other guests were checking in, and we immediately began looking for another hotel. This happened during Family Weekend, when hotels in the area were heavily booked, and relocating took a significant amount of time away from the reason for our trip: spending time with our daughter, who is an out-of-state freshman. In addition to packing up and moving hotels, we carefully inspected our luggage and belongings because we were concerned about bringing cockroaches home with us. The entire experience was extremely unpleasant and disruptive. The hotel did allow us to end the reservation early without charging us for the remaining nights. However, the general manager declined to refund the first night. In the hotel’s written response, management stated that its inspection after our departure did not find a “serious pest issue,” while also referring to “finding a single cockroach” and confirming that the room was inspected and remediation procedures were followed after we left. I understand that finding one cockroach does not necessarily mean there is a widespread infestation. My concern is simply that we encountered a live German cockroach in our room, had to abruptly relocate during a very busy weekend, lost time with our daughter, and still paid for the affected night. For us, that made this a very disappointing stay.

First room was dirty and had not been cleaned at all. No sheets on the beds and furniture flipped over. We moved to a second room. There was hair all over shower and garbage overflowing in the kitchen that had not been taken out. Had to stay in second room because no other rooms available and it was late by that point. The front desk staff were very apologetic and friendly. Not going back.

I loved the room very spacious clean kitchen was equipped with everything location was quiet easy route for site seeing that was our second time and yes I would stay again.

The staff were very nice. The room was not clean. Bed was terrible. Bathroom sink leaked.

This hotel has the greatest location. It is VERY quiet and away from the noise of the city and traffic. We've stayed at this hotel multiple times and each stay has been excellent. The staff and housekeeping were so nice. We will be back again!

Great location and very large room- bedroom and living room separate.

The rooms/suite were clean. The staff were absolutely amazing & so kind. The staff made our stay amazing & very kind about giving us information about the area. We’re in the process of selling our farm in the North Georgia Mtns. & moving to Florida for medical reasons. The kindness we were met with was beyond belief & even more reason we’re looking forward to relocating….

Love this fabulous hotel!

The property and the building iyself was well planned but it is alot to maintain and they are losing the battle. Wear and tear is difficult to keep up with. People are great but they need more maintenance help.

Breakfast was better than an average hotel breakfast. Regular hot items, hard boiled eggs, yogurt bar. Very nice room, staff was friendly and helpful

It was a great stay. The property was clean and comfortable.
