Inn at Churon Winery

Beautiful property and great location, right in the heart of Rancho CA road, access to several other wineries in area. I would have given it 5 stars just for that alone, but the wine is not that great and the place does not have a pool. Also, the hotel checkin staff were not that friendly, one for the male reps (he may have been the manager) never said "hello and welcome" just looked at us and simply asked us "name". He then just handed the other younger female rep a paper and started talking over our shoulders to check in the couple behind us. Strange, the younger female at the time was much nicer. The breakfast choices are limited but quite tasty! And the waitress there was very nice, as was the housekeeping staff. The room was a little dated but clean, large and with a door to patio. The jet tub was the highlight! The room location might have been too noisy if we would have stayed on a weekend since our "patio" openly faced the general tasting area. But for a midweek stay, it was fine and quiet, although not necessarily private. Parking is easy, not complicated and close to entrances to rooms. Overall I mat not stay there again unless the deals are too good to pass up.

Beautiful location

We have been coming here for three years and we always stay at Churon Inn. It is consistently fabulous!! The staff is accommodating and the amenities are generous! We absolutely love Baola who is almost always our waitress at breakfast! She is always friendly and very attentive to whatever we need! She’s a highlight of every morning! The quality of breakfast is outstanding, the rooms are beautiful and the gorgeous, peaceful grounds are divine! We sit out on our private patio every night just enjoying the views and the peacefulness. We will keep coming back to this awesome Inn every time we’re in Temecula. It’s the best!!

The room was great. The staff was amazing. The balcony opened a to the vineyards. Everything was really great. When they found out we were celebrating our anniversary they gave a bottle of wine. The breakfast was okay but hit the spot.

We’ve stayed here several times in the past. Rates are reasonable compared to other wineries with accommodations. Bonus is it’s the only one that provides a complimentary great breakfast. Only issue was the refrigerator in the room makes alot of noise. We mentioned this to the manager and he indicated they are planning to replace refrigerators in all rooms in the near term

It was a super cute older place! Beautiful views! Friendly staff. Very quiet but if you want more action Ponte cellar is just up the street and plenty of great restaurants in the wineries!!

Overall it was a good place to stay but not like the pictures. The rooms need to be updated and so do the grounds.

Nice place. HUGE rooms. but old. Staff was eh.. not a lot of personality. Free wine for staying was terrible!!!! IF they have good wine, they did not share that. Parking was easy. Needs some up upgrading. It is old.

Our AC went out in our room. We were warm for a while. It finally started working again. Staff didn’t check on us until an hour before it was time to check out

The inn is in a beautiful place and the staff was very friendly. The free glass of wine was tasty. The free breakfast in the morning is good quality and well made. The carpet in the room is old and has buckles which are kind of a trip hazard. The sheets were very poor quality and beady. The towels were also cheap and small. The sink in the bathroom had cracks and they had repaired the toilet paper holder and just painted around the repair with a totally different color paint. I would stay here again. My review is just pointing out some things they can change to improve their facilities.

Beautiful hotel and fantastic location

Location was good, close to Thornton Winery where we attended a concert. Quiet outside Large room and clean Breakfast was good Outdated look in the room Fridge was very noisy, we had to unplug it. Maybe change the fridges to energy savings model. Toilet paper in bathroom was half used. We thought general rule was it always has to be a fresh roll. We ran an Airbnb and we never leave half used roll of toilet paper for the next guest. Balcony light bulb was out.
