South Coast Winery Resort and Spa

Very relaxing You can enjoy all of it if you have atleast 3 days to stay.

The staff was awesome. The first room was okay, we asked to be moved and that room was absolutely amazing. We had room service for dinner which was delicious. The spa was perfect as was the wine tasting and restaurant. Overall, it's an excellent resort.

Would be nice to have a microwave and disposable cutlery and plates in the room to reheat leftovers from outside restaurants

Nice location and has a good bar and dinning.

Room was big and spacious, clean and close to the pool. On site restaurant was great, my only complaint was the hot tub within our room. After turning the jets on, they started shooting out some sort of black particles into the bathtub…really grossed me out.

Clean room, staff nice and friendly

Room was dated and certainly not in keeping with a report, the hallways were musty. This place falls way below expectations

Exceptional

Good stay at south coast. Definitely showing its age, but the staff is great and the pool area is still a treasure. Vineyard Rose is also excellent.

The location of the property is fantastic as everything on that main road to wine country is. The winery told us when we informed them the room didn’t look like the pictures (and showed them) or include the amenities listed on Booking that Booking had pictures up of the wrong suite. We didn’t get the spa tub listed, which was one of the reasons we chose the room for two nights. The room was also much smaller than the pictures shown, and rather than overlooking the winery, our balcony overlooked the area people drive up. The room we got was not worth the price we paid. When I book wine country again, I’ll book directly through a different resort and not Booking because the resort told us they couldn’t do anything about our room because we didn’t book through them. I’ve included a couple pictures of what we got and what Booking showed we were supposed to get.

Overall everything was exceptional

Premises were outstanding. Beautiful and clean. Food at the restaurant was fairly priced. I do wish it was more flavorful. I order the steak and eggs for breakfast and what I got was not a steak it was a piece of meat cut into pieces topped with sauce.Not sure what part of the cow this was but it was very chewy and flavorful less. I would be ok paying more but to actually get a piece of steak.
