Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Texarkana East by IHG

We always stay at Holiday Inn whenever possible but this one arguably the worst one. The shower woulsnt drain, the remote stopped working to the TV, there were many holes and paint chipped off spots on the walls and the elevator was a bit sketchy sounding and feeling, and the house keeping missed trashed and obvious cleaning spots, and the lobby snack area was pretty empty. This property looks to be aging and in need of restoration! That said; the staff was very helpful, outside and lobby are clean

My room smelled horrible

Everything was clean. The bed was comfy and the room was spacious. I love how it had 2 tvs so we could both watch what we wanted. Mrs. Marlin did an amazing job on the breakfast line up. Everything was so organized and tasted so good. She was so sweet and made you feel welcome she is a 5 star sweetheart. We loved our stay here.

When I checked in it took 45 minutes going back and forth to get a key that opened the room I finally asked for another room and got a room that smelled, could not stay in it

The mattress we had in our room was not near as good as what we’ve experienced in the past at other Holiday Inn expresses

We had a good stay, family of 5. Breakfast was good, the beds were cozy and the room was clean. The kids enjoyed the pool area as well. We’ve stayed at this particular hotel several times over the past 10 years and are really eager to see the renovations coming.

We only stayed for one night. The first room they gave us smelled like mold and mildew. The bathroom was very dirty and the tub had mold around it. The front desk was very helpful and got us another room. The breakfast was good. The hotel is going through renovations and it shows.

The lady said well it’s gonna quiet awhile before there’s more , though she did bring out some bacon several times Coffee was good

comfort and appearance, fresh ground coffee for breakfast was unique No Coffee in hotel room, Eggs for breakfast was unappealing, no place to socialize outside and smoke while sitting and relaxing.

Not enough water pressure, hot water was not hot enough

Rented two rooms, TV in both rooms did not turn on. On duty manager fixed the one TV and I fixed the other TV. In the second room the shower handle would not turn on so they could not take a shower. The breakfast food was good but cold. My wife had to ask the attendant to warm it up in the kitchen microwave. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The location was very good where I needed to be within 7 minutes, the room was nice needs a upgrade look bad was a little uncomfortable it was okay way better than I have seen in the last Motel booking I had, wanted to get the same type of Motel didn't realize there were two different ones, next time I'll know to books the Holiday Inn hotel facility that's in the same area with the green lights LOL. The mattress was very uncomfortable, the chair head stains in it needs to be cleaned, bathtub was okay the bathroom sink had a crack in it needs to be repaired overall it was okay very better than I have seen before in other bookings., Just need a little upgrade. The price was very different between my checkout was a lot less than my online price hopefully that we can get that resolved. With booking.com

Really nothing The first room we were assigned to the A/C didn't work. We were moved to another room and it smelled like mold and mildew.
