Motel 6 Texas City, TX - I-45 South

Clean, good ac, as expected for the price and location

The sheets and towels were all damp when we arrived and had mold stains on the sheets. We were given fresh linens by maintenance guy since no one was at the desk and had to make the bed with the new linens. My key stopped working on the 2nd day and rang the bell at the desk for 30 minutes before a maintenance guy showed up to help. The staff and cleaning crew were yelling and arguing in the 3rd floor hall outside my room in the middle of the day with trash strung all over the hall.

Roaches everywhere! You can’t escape them

This was one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever seen. Thank god we only stayed one night. We got the about 4:30 & was given our key card to our room. When I opened the door I was shocked at the mess the room was in. The beds were torn apart, there was trash all over the room & the was a sticky looking liquid over about 1/3 of the floor. And that was what I could see, I refused to walk in the door. Got another room key & went to check it out before we hauled our stuff down there. I will never ever stay at a Motel 6 again.

There was pee on my toilet seat

Upon late arrival 11pm, we got to our room and when turning on the lights we found 13 roaches in restroom, one on floor at the bed. Then found 4 more in the shower. Called front desk to be told they had sprayed the room, when asking for a different room was told they were sold out. We were not expecting a lot, but wasn’t ready for roaches. Would not recommend this hotel!!

Enjoyed our one night stay the room was clean front lobby smelled fresh and clean when walking in . .. Traveled alone with kids we felt safe it was quiet there were restaurants close would definitely book again

An interesting bunch.

No toilet paper in room, I bar of soap. Only one ice maker working. Downstairs coffee maker broken. Overall a typical Motel 6. You get what you pay for.

Staff was friendly when we checked in and the room was very clean. No complaints at all.

The location was easy to find.

Terrible. Purchashed 2 nights paid in full, to only show up at 11pm to be told i don’t have a room.. never received a call or any prior notice. They claimed the 3rd floor flooded. Very Unprofessional. Do not recommend

Location and cost. It was quiet in the evening. The room was not clean and there was no toilet tissue or shampoo. We only 2 flat pillows.

The location. And the price for a one nights stay. The front desk didn’t know how to check in with a Booking.com reservation. Had to have help. The hallways were dirty. Pieces of trash everywhere. Like they haven’t vacuumed in a while. The bed sheets were dirty! Clearly weren’t changed as there was hair everywhere and dirt particles. Asked for a clean pair of sheets. Towels had dirt and some kind of stains on them. Barely touched those. Don’t think they washed them with bleach.

I LOVE EVERYTHING

My reservation was lost. Despite having confirmation on my phone, and the hotel not being near capacity I was told that I would need to pay the current rate (double the rate I booked with). The bathroom had obvious damage to the shower and was out of toilet paper. The bed was uncomfortable and the supplied pillows were very flat. This experience has soured me on all Motel 6 franchises and I plan to avoid them entirely going forward.

The convenience and price was good. Property was clean. The hotel room was clean. The bathroom could need a bit of a paint job but overall clean.

Staff was very attentive. Quiet and rooms were clean.

The A/C worked well. First, we were given a room that hadn't been cleaned yet, so they gave us another room. Next, the second room was not comfortable. The sheets had someone's hair (several long black hairs) between the top sheet and the fitted sheet, the room had been painted but the furniture wasn't reinstalled correctly so there were gaps, our sheets had paint spots on it that were the same color as the wall near the headboard, the sheets also had faded yellow stains, the table was being help up by the small frig under it, but the pictures online showed a tall frig, the shower in the pictures showed a shower seat but there were none in the shower in our room, so overall, not what was shown online. Also, there were no TV channels, so you had to log in to see the local news, and in the morning, it didn't work at all. We will never stay there again.
