Motel 6 – Tiffin, OH

This is and has been for the last 10 years a distressed property. Check-in with a 3rd party booking is a nightmare, but the staff did their best and eventually resolved it. The rooms are clean, but dated; lights and plumbing need repair.

Room was clean and comfortable. Could use some upgrade but still very comfortable and clean.

Nothing The price the smell it was dirty had bugs crawling and flying around. Raccoons in the dumpsters pool wasn't open bathroom wasn't clean

If there was a breakfast I was not told about it at check in. Check in was surprisingly slow. Heard others grumbling about it. Was surprised that I was told I could not get a receipt because I booked online. No security to get in building.

Not much Room was filthy, shower & tub looked nasty. Walk barefoot you have black feet. No Ice Machines

I didn’t even stay had to go elsewhere! It is a drug infested prostitution hotel! I called the hotel and told them I didn’t want to stay because of this I contacted booking. Com and told them the situation to cancel the hotel and booking.com said I wouldn’t be charged since I never checked in and signed anything. Lo and behold they charged me $145.39 for one night in this sleeze bag hotel that isn’t even a motel 6 it’s a Days Inn! I forgot to mention I had young children with me and I wasn’t about to stay in a place like this with children! Go to the Holiday Inn that’s in town instead so much nicer! Don’t use booking.com either they are in bed with this hotel and will take your money! It is a prostitute and drug infested hotel with lot lizards strolling around! STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!! Not family friendly and the Seneca County Sheriff Department lives there with the problems! Do your business at The Holiday Inn instead! I would give 0 stars if I could!

Well maintained, and priced nice.

The location right off the main road was bad.. too much road noise , we got very little sleep. The room was filthy , I drove to a local store and bought some cleaner to clean bathroom. although the bed was clean.

Not friendly staff (owners) 3 different bldgs! The smell of Curry is disguting ! The coffee was not good !

Waited a bit for someone to check me in, then she came down in her pjs. The tub has mold, the floor is peeling up. The walls are very thin. I could hear the people in the next room, even though they are not talking that loud. The road was also loud.

The room is an absolute disgrace. The side was falling off the bathtub you could see the motor for the tub jets. The walls and the actual tube was horrible it was so bad we couldn't even shower. The toilet paper holder was a completely rusted. the sink strainer was completely rusted. The front desk girl was very rude. She was the same person there for check in. As check out. I asked for a detailed invoice. She couldn't supply me with one. I understand why the place was empty.

Clean roof. Friendly counter staff. Comfy bed. Nice room. Good price. Would stay again.

The toliet seat was wobbly and it slid when you sat on it. and the baseboards in the bathroom was disgusting with black stuff on them. The room smelled old and stale. The rooms need an update.
