The hotel was one of the top five cleanest hotels where we have stayed, the service was great and there were no stale orders in the common areas or our rooms! Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel wasn't bad. But I expect a little more based on rating and money. The hotel's lobby is small. The pet fee is expensive $100. There is no tea in the room. The keurig coffee is some generic brand. The next day when i went down to ask for some hot water (for drink), the front desk people to ask me to wait for the restaurant to open.

The location, downtown Topeka, was great. The Capitol building and restaurants were within walking distance. We were able to park our vehicle right in front of the hotel, as our stay was on a Sunday night. (Be out of the area by 10 am or you will get a ticket, as there is two-hour parking on weekdays.) For the price of the room, I felt parking should have been included. It is an additional fee to park in their lot.

Room was absolutely gorgeous & comfortable. Walking distance to state capitol & we truly enjoyed the free tour offered there. Also walking distance to a hometown breakfast diner. Skip the $15 hotel breakfast buffet & checkout the local gem Hanover Pancake House
