Holiday Inn & Suites Detroit - Troy by IHG

Irritated breakfast was extra money. And really should have been free for the quality of the food. Very exspensive room for just a boring Wednesday.

There were a lot of guests but it was respectively quiet in the evening hrs. which was a plus after a long drive. I would visit again.

Stayed here after flying in and before a drive up state. Convenient location to the interstate, and lots of things around if needed. (Like Meijer which I miss so much since moving!) The hotel was SO clean and the room was updated and smelled really nice. The staff was also very nice, from the desk to the restaurant. Could have used some juice and milk for the little one at the buffet breakfast… they only had coffee and water out, and milk for the coffee. Will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Mold in shower on a lot of the caulk. Shower floor was brown from dead skin cells/oil

The smell at the front entrance and desk was horrible at check in.

The main drawback was the administrative confusion. Key cards stopped working multiple times, missing towels took a while to get sorted, and a basic room booking turned into a complicated situation thanks to management oversight. The team was helpful in spirit, but clearly confused and slow to deliver timely assistance. It was an okay stay overall, but smoother front-desk service would go a long way.

This was my second stay at this hotel and I couldn’t be happier. I love the staff, room is clean and everything we need.

So far hands down, this was the best hotel I've stayed in. I've stayed at many other holiday inn. My room was clean and spacious.

Bar was without Bartender and Ice machine was not working on 2nd floor

Pool area was to hot very steamy and moist smelling like mildew …. Breeding grounds for germs bacteria… didn’t Ike that continental breakfast was $10-$14 when is free everywhere else … also they charge $5 for toiletries and amenities that should be complimentary.

No free breakfast. First time I’ve encountered this while staying at a Holiday Inn

The pool was warm, breakfast was good. Staff was very friendly. And the beds were clean and comfortable. I liked everything

Easy access to/from freeway. Lots of inside parking. There is a restaurant but I did not eat there. I have stayed here in the past and will so again in the future.

Hotel was very nice. Clean room also. Food options by the hotel is limited. But at least there are some options.

Kitchen staff was also great when needed help leaving in a bind with a child . * note need to tell people up front breakfast is not included other than that great place easy in and out great location **

This certain hotel was in a a business district that was in Troy it was a really nice hotel it was very clean the staff was was really kind and the breakfast was good there's a fee of 1495 if you don't include that with your with your reservations they wave that for me because I guess I didn't have that booked and they gave it to me for free they also have a bar and a restaurant that opens between 5:00 and 10:00 so that was cool to be able to go to and be able to have a couple margaritas and a southwest salad I highly recommend the Southwest sale of the chicken and it has a pool and they also have things in the lobby that you can buy like other hotels such as soda pop and and snacks and stuff like that and it's all affordable and at a real cheap price $2 for a pop that's cheaper than the gas station, the barmaid was really really cool and they gave me a little coaster that said the drinks are on me literally and the first one was on her and that was really really a surprise when she she's gave me the bill, they are really they were they were really really cool there they were fine the pool was big indoors and when I went to check out I left my sunglasses upstairs they had somebody go up there immediately and go grab them for me while my ride was waiting for me my Uber and they brought them down to me it was very nice , I would recommend this particular hotel 🏨
