Friendly nice staff, clean rooms everytime I say here Its excellent

This hotel caters to people with 6 figure salaries only. You literally have to use your room key to get off the elevator on the 4 and 5 floors. My 168.00/night room didn't qualify for that kind of treatment. The carpeting is old and disgusting. The house keeper on the 3rd floor is rude. I did not feel welcome or comfortable at this hotel at all and would never stay here again. The Marriott in Southington was much more preferable, but unfortunately I needed to be closer to my friend who was having a mastectomy. The guests staying on the 4th and 05th floors were much nicer than the staff. The only exceptions, were the lovely staff in the restaurant in the morning. They were always pleasant and greeted everyone with a smile and a kind word every morning.

The Marriott is such a pretty little hotel out of the way in a nice location in Trumbull, CT. The rooms are very clean with comfy beds. The hotel itself is so nice with many comfy seating areas everywhere, gorgeous massive fireplace in lobby and a nice restaurant called Parallel Post, which has a yummy, albeit small menu. We had lunch and my chicken sandwich and fries were truly delish. Best chicken I have had in quite a while actually. My husband had the best burger he has had in a heel and he is a foodie, so that is saying a lot! The service was great and they do not rush you at all. I appreciate that check out is at noon, also, there is always plenty of parking. I will visit again and get another king room. It was fabulous!

Everything was great

Good experience

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We needed some help with the tub draining and it was taken care of very quickly. Thanks for a nice stay.

Bathtub was clogged when taking a shower with water ponding up to the ankles. Informed front desk and when leaving informed the front desk that issue was not completely resolved. Bathtub draining slowly, better than the previous day, but slow.

Extremely dated.

This hotel has a standard of consistency, amenities, good staff and restaurants and I think they continue to do a great job.

Hotel stunk from walking in, room was awful, smelled bad, ceiling looked terrible , bathroom walls had cracks… looked like an old run down building

Staff incredible. Got stuck in elevator. The next day only 1 out of 3 were even functioning. Indoor pool GREEN. Weedy outside. Very soft beds for sleeping. Great breakfast buffet, but pricey. Yummy dinner options! Again, no better staff around, just please, please fix your elevators!!! .

Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful—really appreciated that!

The "Concierge Lounge" had a broken coffee machine, apples, and bananas. That's it.

I would definitely go back

Had a great stay at this Marriott. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Well maintained hotel. Breakfast in the morning was very good. My daughter loved both the indoor pool and the outdoor pool. She had a blast. Only thing missing was a hot tub. That would have been great. Would definitely stay here again.

No one was called in the middle of the night to figure it out. So the day of the funeral, which I was in charge of arranging, my husband and I were completely exhausted. We had asked to be moved to a different room as apparently this was only affecting a few floors, but told no. We just checked out this morning and complained again and it’s as if it’s no big deal. We paid just under 1000.00 for 3 nights, NOT INCLUDING FOOD!

Nice big room with comfy bed. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel needs updating, We arrived on a Sunday evening and it was not very clean. The carpets throughout the hotel needed vacuuming and the hall tables had water stains on them. In the morning, the dining area doors had had prints and smudges all over the glass. The curtains in our room were so worn, they were ripped along the creases.
