All the basic needs are covered... but just barely. It's a cheap hotel that makes no excuses about being a cheap hotel. There was a crack in the TV screen with visible cables running across the wall. The bathroom was tiny.

Nothing Smelt of smoke, multiple stains on sheets, checked out in 10 min, had to look elsewhere, no refund as it was booked through booking.com

We've stayed here many times over the years, great old school back up to your door motel. Tuscola is an amazing train town, the reason we come here, bonus there's a cool bar right down the main street you can walk to & beyond that a 10-15 minute walk to downtown area closer then the other hotels The only drawback really the rooms are on the small side, 2 bed rooms cramped, but you got TV, mini-fridge & microwave, etc

The mixing valve on the showers is way too sensitive. Goes from scalding to freezing too rapidly.

This was provided for a traveler not used personally.

Nasty dirty
-
Very good value stay per dollar, just off interstate.

New floors! Shower was a little small
-
Small area for shower. Needed better water pressure for the toilet. Decent place for a one night stay but nothing more despite the large refrigerator and freezer.

We arrived much later than anticipated, at 6:45 pm, just fifteen minutes before check-in closed. We awoke the innkeepers, a couple who apparently lives there, to check in. They were very gracious despite our late/early arrival and told us we could stay after checkout at 10am to sleep in, which we did as we needed the rest. Recommended purely based on our experience with the innkeepers. Very standard side of the road motel. Everything was clean and well maintained, but the room had the classic musty motel room smell. Turning the AC on mostly took care of that.

The location and the other guests were quiet Beds were hard heater was loud no coffee in the room floor was dirty and Dusty

This was the dirtiest filthiest hotel ever. One room lights didn¿t work moved us to another room that stank so bad if mold they we could not stay. Left with no refund

rooms have a nice LCD TV with cable. Microwave and a small refrigerator with a freezer on top. Room was clean and bed were comfortable. If you don't need a pool and hot tub, and all the thrills this is a good place at a good price. The room and bathroom are smaller.

We appreciated the coffee.

My house burned down on Thurs Feb 22. 2024 and was a total loss.. Stopped at Cooper's Motel that eve around 10-10:30 pm. I was told they didn't have any rooms available, despite the fact there was only 3 cars in their parking llot and at least 12-14 rooms w their curtains open and not occupied. The office smelled of heavy spices and was very cluttered & unkept. The manager was rude and unprofessional!!! So was his wife! The next day we stopped there and ea sign on office counter said " be back in 10 minutes" I waited 30 min to speak to someone and then I called the ph # that was posted to get assistance. The woman answered and said they'd be there in 10 min. I then wanted approx another 15min on her & husband to arrive. Confirmed my room that I previously booked for Fri eve!. Informed mgr of my tragic emergency thus for purpose of my stay and asked if we could check in earlier than 3 pm, got told for $20 we could. Then my boyfriend and I who have deep & loud voices got into a discussion about the events that had happened earlier w the fire in the parking lot. The mgr was walking by outside and told us we couldn't do that.w What?? ...Get a little upset and loud while w venting my emotions to my boyfriend ??? With the mgr already being told that we had just loss everything we owned that we had to our name except the clothes on our backs!! He then tells us " you not get a room there". I went in the office to speak to the mgr and he just kept saying " I no give you room" . I tried to explain what our discussion was about . Very rude and uncaring he wouldn't listen nor would his wife- Him & her just kept saying " it makes no difference what has happened to me or my family and to they they themselves have problems to deal with and that "everybody has problems to deal with". I said thank you to them both and left Sm Town hotel that I'd not refer a single person to go see there!!!

The staff was friendly and flexible. The shower was off-level and was a bit of a slip hazard (although I didn't slip). Overall the accommodations were fair, considering it was a budget motel.

We didn't stay there, rooms smell shower was tiny .Rooms not like the pictures!

Location snd kind managers. Bugs and spider webs…..

The location is right near a cemetery, maybe people will think it’s cool ? The facility needed a lot of work, my family didn’t feel comfortable and it smelled like people were smoking weed there. We left the motel, not for us. My advice if you are feeling adventurous, stop by and decide for yourself, don’t book ahead.
