Hot breakfast was good. Stayed here twice a month apart and both time the same elevator was out of order. Family restaurant in same parking lot. Room is nice

The lady at the front desk who started working at 5 am was just awesome she was kind and very helpful

I was there for surgery. I’ll book the room for the day before and the day after of course the day of and I had everything prepaid and I don’t do credit cards but I had to have a card on file for any damages that was aggravating every time we went down to the lobby, the front desk lady was hollering at some of the staff of what needed to be done or to come to see her or gossiping other than that my son and I had a good stay

A bagel-to-go bag for breakfast was available for guests who needed to leave early. Bottles of water at check in is a nice extra.

Hampton Inn is a well maintained clean property with all amenities. It is close to the University of Illinois and offers plenty of free parking spaces.

Very clean room and bathroom very well stocked. Bed very comfortable. Had a great sleep.

The free coffee. The exercise room has nothing but treadmill and few cycles. No weights, no machines, very tiny, no mats. One elevator was broken the whole stay, causing long waits. Stairs are very far from elevator. There is no laundry service. The airconditioning unit in our room was broken.

I booked the hotel through Expdia and payed through the platform, Some how I was double charged by the hotel when checking out, and was told the hotel could not get fund from Expedia. This definitely is not the customer's fault!

Clean and spotless. All utilities are easily available and working. I loved the suite. On some of the days breakfast is too minimalist with limited spreads. I miss the Omelette , hash brown and bacon which used to be available earlier

I thought all Hamptons come with refrigerators so didn't think to look specifically when booking but our room didn't have one. And the breakfast area was so packed in the morning and so hot that you really didn't want to sit there. Thankfully we found another spot that wasn't as warm. Being near a college campus, I think they expect they will have guests regardless of the condition of the property, but as a frequent Hampton guest at different locations, this is disappointing to see.

Rooms do not have microwave and frig. Please check at time of reservation that your room has it, else it is a big surprise. One elevator was not working. Machines for dispensing water were not working. Stayed because it was close to university. No free parking near close by restaurants, need to do uber. There are better options available little further away.

Helpful and pleasant staff, clean environment and the kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was great! The room could use better lighting and a mini fridge would have been helpful.
