Hampton Inn Champaign/Urbana

Staff were very friendly, parking was plentiful and free. Breakfast was included and very good. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and pretty spacious. Most importantly the hotel was quiet, no street noise or loud guests.

Our stay was very welcoming and the place was clean and Staff was polite.

My room smelled. The couch was filthy and smelled like someone peed on it. The floors were damp and sticky. The floor of the bathtub was dirty. The hairdryer was broken. There was no clock in the room. There were clean sheets on the bed And the towels seemed clean. I’m sorry to be so negative, but the condition of the room was almost shocking.

Our room was small, no towel.or coat hooks. No refrigerator. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. Bed was cozy!

The hotel in well maintained, close to University, has free breakfast and parking- all we needed for one day University visit

My room is OK. It was clean and quiet, but there was something strange about the bed and I just about cracked my head open on the nightstand because it’s impossible to sit on the side of the bed without sliding off. I fixed it by putting a towel on the bed for friction staff. We’re all really nice and friendly, but the breakfast food other than the cold poppyseed bagel with plain cream, cheese and coffee was terrible. I realize that hotels use powdered eggs to make large batches of scrambled eggs, but these powdered eggs were not even shaped like eggs and they had zero flavor. It was like eating me insulation of a padded mailing pouch made out of shredded paper in little granules, not kidding I thought that the bacon might be nice because it looked fantastic even though it was very thin, but even that had zero zilch flavor. It wasn’t even salty. Also, it seemed a little strange that the cooking stuff took their breakfast break right there in the same area as the hotel guests.

I enjoyed the fact that it was clean and there where plenty of towels Did not like the location
