Motel 6 Valdosta, GA - University

Staff is great and rooms always clean i stay here when driving thru often

This is our third overnight stay at the motel 6 Valdosta, Georgia. The rooms are clean, and bug free! The beds were comfortable and the linens clean. Large TV with HBO/Cinemax, as well as a refrigerator and microwave. The rooms were remodeled recently, with engineered wood floors, newly tiled bathrooms. My only suggestion would be the need for some maintenance issues probably caused by guests. Dirt spots on walls/ scrapes that could be touched up. They do not serve breakfast, but have hot coffee available, there is a Burger King next to the motel, and McDonald’s across the street as well as other restaurants close by

Not a good place to stay for the money. There's a Days Inn and Super 8 in the vicinity. Try them instead. Roaches and the shower head needs some Clorox spray.

We had a pet so apparently they have different rooms for them. Mom found a roach crawling on the floor and I videod it and killed it. The comforter had burn holes all in it and the room smelled musty. To be honest I took all stuff back to car after I dressed with clothes I was to wear nxt day as I was scared of roaches and bed bugs. I requested my money back and never heard from them. I would have left but couldn't afford a different room. I slept 4 hrs and left.

The property is in need of a complete ground up overhaul. The room reeked of despair. The room next door had a bullet hole with an empty crack baggie nestled on the grass walkway just across the room. Had to wait on check out while the local sheriff’s department finished looking for a recent guest. Tarantino would love this place.

Cheap, clean, safe, and near the South Georgia Motorsport Park, which is exactly what we were looking for

The room was fine. It had been updated to some degree and was pretty clean. 2 things I did not like. The door of the room needs weather stripping so it leaked in warm air. Also, you could hear a lot of street noise. And, the air conditioner was loud. So, I just ran the fan, but, it got warm. So, it was a no win situation. If you can afford to stay somewhere nicer, do it.

Pet friendly.

Didn’t have any shampoo, conditioner or hair dryer. I have never been to a motel before that doesn’t have those.

the pool was lovely. the hotel was great, the beds were very nice, the showers are amazing and I love that my dog could come with me the other guests are the worst thing. its not in a good part of town, lots of drug traffic, but that is not the hotels fault. you hear yelling and constant talking all night but having the TV on helps.
