Motel 6 Villa Park, IL - Chicago West

Very dirty and not comfortable in anyway

We didn’t have a good experience at all. The room we rented door was not secure and there was a water in the room from coming in under the door. It was what looked like mold around the door and walls, the air conditioning unit was falling apart, there was hair in the shower, tub, on the towels that were supposed to be clean. The towel rack in the bathroom was sitting on the sink and off the wall. There also hair on the supposed clean sheets and blankets.

The place to be if you’re angry at yourself and want to spend too much on a room.

Great place for the price

The fact the door goes to outside. Everything else!!! There was nasty stuff all over the doors just dripped on it! The Bedframe was broken!! The door was broken!! You couldn't lock, seal, dead but the door at all it was so ragged and there was stains, burn marks all over the door!! No microwave, fridge, alarm clock, and the wall was pealing/nasty!! Ohhh and there were ROACHES!!

Yet in its overrun condition, there was a first class restaurant next door.

The location was great for nearby food. Beds were uncomfortable, TV looked blue in all channels, floor was swollen kept tripping on lifted flooring cracking all around bed, people were very loud and obnoxious, cops were on premises quite often.

There was what appeared to be bodily fluid stains on walls around bed and especially across from the toilet in the bathroom. It looked like someone had picked their nose and wiped it on the wall. The bathroom door had holes punched in and filled. It had a break across the width of the door on the inside as if someone had kicked it from the outside and the door had started to fold and it barely closed enough to latch shut. The soap provided was already opened and used, then placed back into the wrapper. The bedspread was littered with burn holes. I slept on top of the covers and used my sweatshirt as a blanket. I would not stay again if at all possible. I would like to note that the staff at check-in and check-out were both very friendly and helpful. They were the shinning star of the visit.

Nice air conditioning, tv was cool. One of the beds had stained sheets that looked like red baby batter but besides that it was decent for the price.

Booked this last minute in a pinch. It was affordable and clean enough. The TV and cable were fine. Decent sit down dining options within walking distance. That’s about all I can say that’s positive. I didn’t expect much though. As long as you know going in that there is plexiglass protecting the staff, and this is the type of motel where people who are hard up live in with their children. Loud. Questionable characters. Outdated interior. Don’t accept a room on the interior unless you want to be kept up all night by the guests hanging in it like it’s a front yard or porch.

Horrible experience, property was nothing like described

Everything about this property, including the inside a d outside, was horrible. Don’t even think about staying here. You will definitely regret it.

Nothing Arrived at 12 midnight to be told by a very rude person behind the desk that my reservation didn't exist and they were sold out, gave no information about other options or reassurance that I wouldn't be charged for a missed stay. While leaving to try to find somewhere else police pulled up dropping off someone.

I requested a different room, but they were unable to accommodate. I refused to pay to stay in those unsafe conditions, yet they would not issue a refund. As a result, I was charged for the night despite checking out immediately and relocating to another hotel.
