The tub floor was too slippery and the bed a bit too high. The restaurant was great. Service was great. Nice place to stay overall.

Location was great and restaurant/tavern on-site is a plus. The food was delicious and the continental breakfast was nice as it was included. The beds were comfy and room and facilities clean. There is a great outdoor space that featured a band on Fri night. The barrel bolt latch on the bathroom door didn't quite match up so you had to lift the door to align the latch to keep the door closed which was extra challenging in the middle of the night. We were unable to find the TV remote and needed assistance locating it. Staff was able to locate it under one of the beds which tells me that a bit more care could've been taken in preparing the room.

Very atmospheric setting- "rural VT"!

Nice quaint little motel and restaurant. Like a lot of things on the area the building is very old. Room and bathroom were small but worked perfect! Restaurant and bar on site was a bonus as food and drink were very good! I would definitely stay there again!

Very comfy, clean & sweet. I’d be happy to return again.

Staff were all super nice. It's close to the Sugarbush ski area. The onsite restaurant/bar was rad. Fantastic cuisine and reasonably priced.

Great location, clean room, awesome bar/restaurant onsite, friendly staff

SO MUCH FUN! Staff was super nice (Gem & Jean & Pierre) cozy & food was great!

The inn itself is a beautiful farmhouse style setup, not many frills but all the basics. Very clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The included breakfast is a great option to fill up when you want to avoid a $12 breakfast sandwich at the Sugarbush lodge. No frills here either but you get all the basics (eggs and omelets, pancakes, oatmeal, fruit) and it’s all done well. The bar/restaurant is a definite highlight. Great food, tons of drink options including plenty of local VT craft beers, and great atmosphere! It does get crowded, especially weekends, so highly recommend a reservation for dinner. All in all, a wonderful place to stay. And even if you don’t stay at the inn, definitely stop by for breakfast or a meal/drinks at the restaurant.

This is a truly unique county inn. Everyone was so nice. The inn is historic. There’s a cute pub & a restaurant that serves great food. I would definitely stay again.

Hi, friendly staff, comfortable room, except the mattress was a little soft. We woke up with backaches.
-
Great cozy atmosphere and minutes away from Lawson’s brewery and Sugarbush…the full included breakfast in the am was fantastic!

Great quiet spot

Cute little inn with a great restaurant attached

The Hyde Away is a classic inn and is about as "Vermonty" as you can get. The restaurant/bar is jumping on the weekends/holidays in the winter. Great food, nice beers, nice staff. There is a living room area on "inn side" where you can sit as in guests and read/relax, etc. Breakfast included was EXCELLENT. Best French Toast we have had in a while!!!! The room we got for a family of 4 on a ski vacation was not big enough. We have an 8 and 10 year olds and the bunk beds were great, but there was very little room to even get dressed in the morning for skiing. It was a nice room and the bathroom was nice (although not heated). I think there are other rooms that are bigger, so if I am staying again, I am going to call the inn directly to ask them.
