SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Washington

We stay here every year on our way to visit family. We always book through Expedia. I learned my lesson to call and confirm amenities before booking. We always look forward to a swim in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub after driving 10+ hours. After booking, we messaged to make sure we’d make it in time to swim only to learn that the pool and hot tub were closed for renovations. This was not listed on Expedia when we booked, but it was too late to choose another hotel without losing our payment. There were a few other issues during our stay that were only slight inconveniences; the blinds did not work properly, the tv wouldn’t play anything other than CBS, the highway noise was incredibly noisy, and the workout room wasn’t superb. All in all, though, it was a good stay. The staff are always welcoming, helpful, and kind, the breakfast is delicious, and the rooms clean and beds comfy. We will stay here again in the future providing the pool is fixed and working.

We had a decent stay at this hotel, which was a little older, but it didn't bother us much. We spent two nights there, the first morning on May 28th the person responsible for breakfast was very attentive and friendly, he really put an effort to make sure the guests were satisfied. However, the next morning on Mai 29, the person serving breakfast (a man with a bold head), was kind of rude to us. He looked annoyed and aggravated with everything we have asked him about. He was rolling his eyes each time I had questions: coffee was out, pancake mix dispenser was empty then it was clogged. When I asked him about the blueberry jam we had at the breakfast the day before, he didn't even bother to look for it and when I asked him again, he said he may have it the next morning. This person was very inpatient with the guests and had nothing under control. Instead of paying attention to what needed to be done, I saw him playing on his phone in the kitchen. I honestly don't think he liked his job and wanted to be there. Horrible service from him and I hope we will never see him again.

Terrible. Dirty hotel. Water leaking everywhere. Room door was hard to open and close. One ice machine. Stayed for 4 nights. Didn’t clean my room once. Loud noises coming from the plumbing. Window wouid open. 4th floor windo was wide open. Serious safety issue for children.

Had A Great stay! The refrigerator didn't keep things cold. and there was water coming from the wall. Everything else was good.

Great location! Nice shower room! Ice machine broken on the second floor. Our air conditioner was noisy!

Everything was good I had great difficulty using a Marriott Bonvoy gift card. They finally figured it out the next day but it would seem that this shouldn’t be that difficult.

No conditioner in the shower, messed up air conditioning system and was soooo hot, two front desk employees just chatting away at the front desk meanwhile there was no coffee and most the breakfast needed refilled

Dried blood on the sofa pillow, and bed pillow A the suites aren’t worth it, it’s legitimately entirely small, just get the bed. Spent 587$ on a room that shares a singular tv that you can barely adjust, with a horrible microwave, no spoons, no forks, and a mirror for some reason that faces the bed directly so ur face to face with yourself when you leave, the toilet paper is ACROSS from the toilet meaning you’d have to bend down to lunge your body to reach it, A fridge that could barely keep drinks cold, and no extra fitted sheets, legitimately we got a extra fitted sheets like a pack of it, but NONE of then fit the king sized bed, it genuinely just did not fit breakfast is fine, kid you not if the breakfast wasn’t free i’d give it one, The staff are The best part of the place , at the end of the day they’re people and they work hard to clean, super polite when i brought up complaints, but i’m sorry it’s just so mediocre for the price.

A good stay. Staff were excellent, room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was better than most Continental offerings at other places. Only minor downsides were two outlets in our room didn't work and there's no longer a pool.

Very happy with our stay. Big breakfast, clean rooms, helpful and kind staff, comfortable beds, and excellent water pressure!

The HVAC unit in our room had no heat. The bathroom sink drained poorly and had no hot water. Although we were there for theee days the maid did not come in once to empty trash or replenish TP/coffee etc. Will go elsewhere next time. Great location though,

poor breakfast. would not refill bread selection for toast when asked 3 times. Said they were"too busy"

Large room. Comfortable bed. The shower handle was broken.
