The breakfast was very nice - lots of choices and well stocked. The location was wonderful. After lots of driving, being able to walk around the property was wonderful. We had stayed in boutique hotels in Philadelphia and Brooklyn over the weekend, and I found our time in Washington much more comfortable.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful, EXCEPT they didn't have the room I paid for - and they said Expedia booked me into the wrong room. I reserved a room with a king bed and sofa bed, but when we arrived, they were all taken. They explained that third parties overbook hotels. I don't know the validity of this, but if it is true - Expedia should refund me for the difference in price.

EVERYTHING! The pillows were to squishy. I personally am a firmer pillow person. That was the only disappointment.
