Room seems clean however after ac running it's a very damp smell and can see I'm assuming pee stains as is pet friendly on the rug. It was not even time to check out and housekeeping entered Room stating we where listed as checked out. When actually checking out NO STAFF @ desk just pen and paper with information asking you to leave a note with Room #. $5.00 EACH for a bottle of water and can soda. Ridiculous stop down the street at a dollar general if needed. But might also not have any ice as the ice machine was broke. Tub was so slippery so also being cleaned or rinsed properly. Would not go back.

Property was very nice and a very good location. The rooms were very clean. They treat you nice.

I was disappointed by their check-in policy. Typically, if I attempt to check in to a lodging early, it is not a problem UNLESS the room is not ready. The check in at Silver Fox is 4 pm. When I arrived at 2 pm, the first clerk reminded me of the official check in time. I was then told that I could check in early for $75 (meaning the room was clearly ready). I felt that $75 for two hours was outrageous. I was then offered a discounted early check in price of $50. The second clerk seemed embarrassed, but hamstrung, by the policy. It was disappointing but I entertained myself for two hours and returned for the official check in time.

Matt was very helpful in the checking in. Wish there was a refrigerator in the room.

The Silver Fox Inn is a charming hotel in the beautiful Waterville Valley Mountains. The rooms are attractive with a fetching view of the mountains just beyond. The staff is very friendly, there is free coffee available all day in the lobby and a very good buffet breakfast in the morning. Each floor has a relaxing sitting room. I would definitely stay there again.

Great stay! Hotel clean with great location for multiple activities. Excellent staff as well. Acting pass was outstanding!

Could use a update. No microwave hair dryer old as dirt no refrigerator small bed

Breakfast was great- wish it opened before 7am however with needing to be ready and out to the feis ready to dance by 8:15 It was great! Just bfast being earlier

Nice lobby with cozy fireplace, books, games, and coffee station. Breakfast was decent, though we didn't experience what others had raved about. They had a group of school kids staying, so I guess they ran out of better breakfast options. Would be nice to have some more fruit options and not just a sugary type of yogurt. It was also very noisy in room with others walking by in the morning; you could hear everything in the hallway. That said, comfortable bed and the amenities at the athletic club were nice to have access to after skiing. We would stay here again.

In the middle of Waterville, close to everything, breakfast had home made dishes. Had a good rustic feel. Less expensive than all but one lodging option in Waterville. Outdated and a little tired. I had to put the shower curtain on the shower rod as it had been left on the dresser.

There was nobody at reception after 10pm and there was a very rowdy group of youth hockey players and their families who were so loud and disrespectful each night until midnight keeping most of us awake. There was no staff to help deal with it.

Clean Room and good breakfast. Very convenient stay before a day of skiing.

I’m trying really hard to come up with something good here - I guess my kids lined the board games available for use in the lobby. I honestly do not have time out of my life to spend writing everything that I have to say but let me quickly sum it up: - Hotel rooms outdated and unimpressive. No mini fridge really stinks. Not enough shampoo (about 2 Tblsp) in the bottle they for you in the shower for me and 2 kids to shower twice. I kept feeling itchy all over in bed and was wondering if there were bed bugs - had a welt or 2 on my arms the next morning but have never had a bed bug experience so idk. - went to ‘store’ in lobby to get a Diet Coke and chocolate. No chocolate and no Diet Coke. But they did somehow manage to build a Time Machine and zip back to 1957 and stock up on the RC Cola instead. - went to buy something else at 9:55pm and it was closed. Front desk clerk refused to sell it to me (I think it was water) and when I said I thought they closed at 10pm he said no the desk closed at 10pm but he could close the store whenever he wanted to before that…. - was woken up our first morning by an employee telling us there was a gas leak and we had to evacuate. - no key just a keypad which I think is a great eco-friendly idea but ours didn’t work half the time and took 3 or 4 tries every time we tried to get in - twice we had to go to the front desk - Entire hotel was freezing as all doors were open to air out the gas all day - no hot water eventually and they thoughtfully put us in a hotel next door BUT when i told them th price of our room included breakfast and what were we supposed to do about that he said he had no idea. I asked if there was any place to get breakfast nearby and they said they had no idea. We drove 25 miles round trip and spent $65 on breakfast to only find out later that a hotel next to us had a free breakfast buffet our hotel could have asked them If we could join and also there was a restaurant in the ‘town square’ directly behind us that served breakfast. Yeah. Won’t be back. PS: Pretty sure I’m missing something! AND -have not even heard from the hotel.
