The Valley Inn, an Ascend Collection Hotel

The room was clean & we had plenty of towels. The beds were not comfortable. Mattresses very soft. We did not sleep well. The amenities offered: heated pool & jecuzzi etc were not convenient, they were down the street.

Included with the stay is the Freedom Pass which allowed us to do fun activities free of charge. We had a great time and highly recommend . We will be back!

Rooms were very large, modern and clean. Grounds and facilities were also 5/5

Super location, 4.5 for cleanliness, a little dated, very good staff, breakfast 3/5, not hot but you can toast. Would definitely stay here again. Be very aware of the dates and cancellation policy, they are strict.

On a dormi une nuit en famille. Chambre spacieuse, lits confortables. Cafétière, micro-onde et petit frigo dans la chambre. Hôtel viellissant aurait besoin de plusieurs rénovations, mais pour une nuit c'est correct. Pedro à l'accueil très gentil et très professionnel. Petit déjeuner inclus. Nous sommes arrivés tard dans la journée n'avons pas eu le temps d'utiliser piscine ni mieux découvrir l'endroit autour de l'hôtel. On verra pour retourner une autre fois.

Very rustic and in a nice off the path location good for getting away from crowds.. Pedro at from desk was very helpful and gave good recommendations for local restaurants.. I feel like we didn’t do a lot in the immediate area moore so used this as a sleeping and central point for going up to Lincoln and down to Lake Winnipesaukee but it’s a very cute area and next time I would try the biking… with our hotel stay we got passes to the White Mountain athletic club about half a mile down the road.. nice hot tubs (2) there and pool with other rec facilities that we could’ve used if we wanted, including sauna n steam room

Great amenities included with stay!

Perfect little getaway! Bathroom was clean and well stocked. The bed was easily one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in away from home. The guy at the front desk was amazing! Access to the pool, splash pad and other amenities being included in the stay added a huge bonus! Highly recommend!

It needs a little work on the property. Staff was very nice and clean.

Pedro was great in check in. The hotel is old and could use a deep cleaning and some updates. If you’re looking for very basic and not so updated this won’t be bad. It isn’t very clean

We got there late for checkin and the reception kept our key on the desk for us. Parking was just enough at that time. The resort is good in terms of other things that families can enjoy. There is a free chair lift that we used.

The carpet in our king room had not been vacuumed before we arrived. The bed mattress was comfortable. The bathroom was small, but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was nice to have sink in the kitchenette. Breakfast served pre-packaged, heat yourself Jimmy Dean SEC sandwiches one morning, and had hot eggs and sausage patties the next morning. Not many options at breakfast if you are looking for a big meal to get ready for a day of hiking/biking/running/skiing, etc. Images that show the parking lot on the hotel website have been altered to make the lot look nice and smooth, when it's actually bumpy, full of sealed cracks, and has worn, hard to see parking space lines.

The property itself is very outdated for the price I paid, the room had a smell, probably from the old carpet and the old sofa bed. We couldn't use one of the showers and the water pressure was low on the other one. Need some TLC.

Nice room, free breakfast, and great amenities. Loved the outdoors and beautiful views!

The guests were too loud and kids were running in the hallways and slamming doors. The shower water came out so slow that it took a while to rinse the soap off. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
