Super 8 by Wyndham Waynesburg

When I first got there there was no one at the front desk, I ring the bell and no one. A sign says to pick up the lobby phone. Finally someone comes and I get checked in. I go to my room and it’s dirty. My socks were stained black and I was only there one night. The sheets had various stains on them which was concerning. Also, the curtains were riddled with holes and stains somehow. I didn’t expect much but at least standard hygiene practices to be met. On top of all that the walls are paper thin and the door doesn’t block out hallway sound so you can hear everyone coming and going.

Most outlets in room didn’t work, smoke detectors was missing from ceiling

My room was canceled, due to a water pipe break..I was charged and still have not been refunded.

The room I stayed in had a disconnected Smoke detector and part of the vent on the air conditioner was broken out. But other than that it was an alright stay because it was convenient to the place I wanted to go to.

Couldn’t check in due to power outage at the hotel but they had the nerve to charge for they stay anyway. Slept in my rental car plus was charged for a night’s stay. Unbelievable.

Tub did not drain,stains in tub from standing water, hair dryer did not work. Piece of foam on plywood would have been more comfortable than their king size mattress. Do not recommend this place at all.

When you look from the outside, the building is old looking, however, when you enter the building the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The building and rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable. We left a tablet behind and they called us to let us know. Great customer service. Sam the property manager was awesome !!!

Only room left and I got it. Poor cleanliness, towels and sheets were stained. Had to go buy sheets and blanket for bed. Comforter was stained. Property as a whole was not clean.

The outside of the building is less than desirable, almost afraid to get out of the car. Trash was overflowing by front entrance and the outside of the building could use a fresh coat of paint.

For the price and a quick place to stay well travelling home this was a great place. Room was clean. It’s an older place but was clean staff were nice. Bed was comfortable. Room temp was great. Fridge was a bit loud. This is not a 4star hotel but how can you expect that when you’re paying this price. My husband and daughter were pleased with the stay.

I booked through Expedia based on photos that showed a clean, well-kept room. I paid $224 for two nights with two beds while traveling for work in Greene County. The reality was completely different. Check-in required using a filthy lobby phone to reach the owner, which immediately raised concerns. We were placed on the third floor with no elevator, making it difficult to carry heavy luggage and equipment. The room was extremely dirty. Furniture, including the fridge, table, and dresser, was covered in grime and looked worn down. The desk chair was stained, and the phone appeared greasy. The bathroom had visible mold, and there was an unpleasant odor throughout the room. Safety was also an issue. A group of men associated with the property lingered outside and in the stairwell, grilling and repeatedly catcalling us. As two women traveling alone, this made us feel uncomfortable. The property overall was poorly maintained. The parking lot had large potholes, and the breakfast area had food left out and untouched the entire stay. My travel companion booked another room, which was reportedly even worse. We both documented everything with photos. I would not recommend staying here based on cleanliness, safety concerns, and lack of upkeep.

Nice people well lit clean fair price

We had to shut it off and open the window. Luckily, the windows open, or it would have been a horrible night. The bed and pillows were good. The breakfast was also just fine.

Had to sleep with pants and a hoodie on pictures do not match hotel!!!!

I thought the location and staff was very nice to find and deal with. It is only 5 minutes from where I needed to go. I did not eat the breakfast so I don't have a review of it.
