There was no breakfast available. The bed was old and sank in too much. Not supportive, but not purposely soft. It was just old and worn out.

Very clean

Very friendly and courteous owner, great location 5 mins away from Mount Snow.

July is a slow time there. We loved the quiet and privacy but if you want a bustle of human activity it wouldn't be for you.

Stayed here for 2 days in late June. Owner was very kind and helpful. The place is really cool inside.

Very helpful host. Good location. A short bike path for walking. Comfortable beds and room. Be prepared for dogs who bark or whine when left in their pet friendly rooms when their owners go out. Not a fan of the no BYOB rule. Stairs were strep to the upstairs rooms. Overall, a great weekend stay.

The location, the room, the facility, the surrounding areas all were fantastic! We were here for a three night stay and the Deerfield Valley Inn was the perfect place to explore Vermont and the surrounding areas! The fireplace in our room was beautiful and a welcome addition to relax next to when we got back in for the evening and the bed was amazingly comfortable providing us with a fantastic night's sleep to prepare us for nature filled days. We look forward to our next trip to Vermont and staying here as our home away from home.

Yes. Easy parking

Way overpriced . I’ve stayed in other hotels in the area that included breakfast with hot tubs that are 50% less than this place. The place to put your shoes in the room had mud all over it. Maybe clean it before your next guest.

I tried to locate the Mgr when they were noticed but he was nowhere to be found. I sent a message that evening and nothing. I mentioned it upon checkout, and he seemed very surprised. I find it very hard to believe that no one else who stayed in this room didn’t notice these rather large ants all over the place? This place is outdated, old dusty furnishings and nothing special at all… the main living room had a nice fireplace that was never lit the entire time we were there. It feels lifeless and sad…. I was very surprised that when I was handed a menu to check off my selection for breakfast that they were actually charging for breakfast! Isn’t that the whole point of a vet and breakfast is to have breakfast as a part of the offering? When the manager finally responded to my note, asking for a partial refund, he declined and said that they would provide me with a 25% discount on my next stay which I will not need. He did say that they treated the room for the ants and the “weather” was the issue. It’s really a shame because it’s a lovely old home that is in the heart of Dover close to everything.

Parking is across the street and was challenging in and out due to snow. Lot is not plowed. Not great for skiing shuttle service is far and few between.
